    摘要: A scaffold system for supporting workers includes a plurality of end frames including a pair of uprights joined by an overhead cross bar for supporting planks thereon. The end frames are stacked top-to-bottom to form end frame columns and are laterally secured together to form an exterior framework. The scaffold system also includes interior posts coupled vertically end-to-end so as to form interior columns, with pairs of interior columns being secured to each end frame column between the vertical uprights of the end frames. Side rails are mounted to the interior posts extending between the pairs of interior posts. Planks are supported on the overhead cross bars, extending between adjacent end frames, and are bounded at their ends by the pairs of interior posts to form a work space and/or walkway for workers of a reduced size or area.

    摘要: A scaffolding safety device is mountable to a scaffolding structure having a pair of spaced apart vertical structures and a platform horizontally extending therebetween for supporting a worker. The device comprises an elongate body, a pair of connectors and a safety line. The elongate body defines opposite longitudinal ends and each connector is positioned at or near a respective longitudinal end for being connected to a respective one of the spaced apart vertical structures thereby providing the elongate body to be horizontally disposed between the spaced apart vertical structures. The safety line comprises resilient material mounted at each longitudinal end thereof to or near a respective one of the longitudinal ends of the elongated body for horizontally and slackingly extending along a least a portion of the longitudinal length of the elongated body. The safety line provides for connecting a safety harness worn by the worker thereto. During accidental fall of the worker from the platform, the safety line provides for absorbing a force from the worker's weight via the harness.

    摘要: A scaffold has several spaced apart systems of construction frames present on top of each other, as well as handrail frames that extend between the construction frames. The construction frames have three posts connected together by crossbars, in which the front post is shorter than the other two. The handrail frames are attached to these short posts. Each handrail frame is built up of two post sections with a handrail and a side plank between them. The post sections form half of a lengthwise divided post. The post sections of two adjacent handrail frames thus form one whole post, which can be inserted into the short post of a construction frame. As the post sections are part of the handrail frames, the handrail frames can be easily attached to the short posts already present at the front of the construction frames.

    摘要: A scaffold including a pair of scaffold frames has a scaffold platform supported by the frames, which is defined by a series of planks and includes an opening. The opening is formed by a pair of transverse support members that extend between the pair of planks at a location between the scaffold frames. Partial-length scaffold planks, having first and second ends and a length less than the space between the scaffold frames, are supported by the transverse support members and occupy the space between the planks other than at the opening. The transverse support member includes spaced-apart plank engagement sections that rest on upwardly facing surfaces of the planks, and a plank end support member that extends between the plank engagement sections. A scaffolding platform system and a method of forming a scaffolding platform are also disclosed.
