    摘要: A portable stage includes a folding framework supporting a removable deck. The framework includes opposing folding end framework assemblies and opposed side framework assemblies. The framework folds from an extended position for use and a folded positon wherein the framework is compact for storage. The side framework assemblies each include corner columns connected by angled portions having a V configuration forming an open space below the deck. The decks connect with pin connectors that extend into through holes in the deck. The pin connectors having a threaded connector supporting a pin that provides for relative axial movement when the pin is rotated from above to adjust stage height. Removable guardrails include mounting brackets that attach to the pin connectors.

    摘要: A platform system for leveling a stage includes at least two module assemblies, each including at least two receiving members being releasably secured to each other. At least two first supports are engaged and removably secured to the at least two receiving members, at least one receiving member present is not engaged or secured to a first support. Each first support includes an elongate portion, an extendible portion extendible from and lockingly engageable with the elongate portion, a base member removably attached to the extendible portion. A retention system is configured to engage and lockingly secure the extendible portion to form a first support of desired length, and at least one second support releasably connected to a first support and module assembly. The retention system is configured to rapidly extend and lockingly engage the extendible portion, the base member providing self-leveling of each of the module assemblies of the stage.

Each module assembly includes one or more receiving members for engaging and removably securing the one or more supports. Each support includes an elongate portion, an extendible portion extendible from and lockingly engageable with the elongate portion, a base member removably attached to the extendible portion, and an actuator assembly secured to the elongate portion and in communication with the extendible portion. The actuator assembly is configured to rapidly extend and lockingly engage the extendible portion and the base member to provide self-leveling of each of the one or more module assemblies of the stage as the base member engages an underlying surface.

    摘要: A platform lift mechanism for theaters, concert halls, etc. The lift device is a module or modules formed of four segments telescopically, vertically extendable or retractable relative to each other, except for a fixed base segment. The platform is secured to the uppermost segment. The second segment carries a rotatable nut adapted to raise and lower an elongated complementary screw secured at its upper end to the third segment. When four modules are used, a synchronizing chain is provided to actuate all modules synchronously. A brake and a motor are provided, either for each module or for all of them. A motor control is also provided.

    摘要: A modular floor system comprises a plurality of modular floor elements, each of which can be individually lifted to and supported at preset heights to change the configuration of the floor. The modular floor elements can be placed, either individually or in groups, at different levels relative to each other, to form stages, stairs, seating areas, display areas, grandstands, and balconies. Each modular floor element substantially comprises a floor panel, a sliding post, a sliding post guide, and an air cylinder assembly. Each sliding post includes a low position stop pin located at the post''s upper portion, a plurality of radially directed uniformly spaced positioning pin holes, a longitudinally directed keyway, and an air seal assembly located at the post''s lower portion. The sliding post guide, which is rigidly set into a concrete slab, includes a key which interacts with the sliding post keyway, a pin support seat, and leveling means. The floor panel is fastened to the top of the sliding post, which, in turn, is vertically guided and laterally supported by the sliding post guide. The sliding post can be supported at any preset height by a positioning pin which is placed through a positioning hole on the sliding post. The positioning pin bears against the pin support seat located on the upper portion of the sliding post guide. The pin, in addition to the action of the combination comprising the key and keyway, also prevents rotation of the sliding post about its longitudinal axis by coacting with the pin support seat. The air cylinder assembly, which is fastened to the lower portion of the sliding post guide, is adapted to receive the sliding post and its air seal assembly. The sliding post is raised or lowered by introducing air pressure into the cylinder at a location below the lowermost position of the air seal assembly. The air supply system, which provides this air pressure, includes an orifice which, upon deactivation of the air system, allows air to controllably escape from the cylinder. This, of course, allows the sliding post to drop until the positioning pin rests upon the guide''s pin support seat. Alternatively, the air cylinder and air seal assemblies can be deleted, in which case the sliding post can be raised or lowered by an overhead hoist or by a portable lift device located below the sliding post.
