    摘要: A method of creating a smooth-to-the-touch Terrazzo pool finish is disclosed. A mixture of 1 part cement to 1-2 parts crushed marble aggregate, ¼ part pool sand, and sufficient potable water, is mixed until smooth and creamy in texture. The mixture is pumped to the gunite shell of a pool interior surface and hand trowelled onto the shell. In a still soft state, the trowelled surface is seeded with colored and/or high performance aggregate to create desired surface effects. The seeded elements are then trowelled into the upper layers of the surface until hard. After an initial set has taken, the surface is sprayed with a chemical retarder. Once fully set, following 10-20 hours of curing, the mixture surface is power-washed and diamond sanded until smooth-to-the-touch and acceptable in appearance in terms of exposing the previously seeded surface effects. The pool is then filled, chemically treated, and brushed until the surface is no longer dust producing.

    摘要: A method for fabricating a pool mold comprising the steps of creating a recess, the recess having the general shape and contour of the desired finished pool and is installed with support materials and surface references. A layer of forming material is place over the support materials and surface references and formed to desired contour and grade. The forming material has substantially uniform coefficients of thermal expansion and heat transfer. The surface of the recess is sealed and coated with a release agent. A mold is then fabricated within the recess.

    摘要: Panels for making a swimming pool have a globally rectangular planar prefabricated structure delimited by a peripheral frame consisting of vertical and horizontal wings, one of the vertical wings having, suitably distributed over its height, fixing arrangements adapted to cooperate with matching arrangements of the other vertical wing of an adjacent panel. The matching arrangements are selected to enable the panels to be automatically assembled after said arrangements have been engaged under a pressure force exerted in a plane parallel to the vertical wings and to ensure tightness in combination with a profiled shape arranged over the whole length of the vertical wings at their connecting portion with the planar surface of the structure.

    摘要: A device for attaching a form board to an edge of a pool to facilitate placement of a concrete deck. The device may include a clip configured to pass through the form board and to attach to a channel formed in a track retainer positioned on an edge of the pool. The clip may include a bolt having a tapered adjustment piece attached to one end and a threaded nut on the opposite end. The nut may be rotated to draw the tapered adjustment piece into an expansion member causing the expansion member to expand. The expansion member may contact a ridge in the channel to from an interference fit to prevent the clip from being removed from the channel. The clip can be quickly fastened and released by simply rotating the nut, thus the clip can be reused repeatedly.

    摘要: A concrete form and a pool wall and deck support system is disclosed. The pool wall may be formed of steel, plastic, aluminum or wood and has a plurality of wall panels secured together in end-to-end relation to define the perimeter of the structure. Wall supports or brace structures fabricated from non-compressible material such as concrete are attached to, and support both the wall of the pool and the perimeter deck therearound. The pool wall, coping and deck are supported by the top of the concrete brace structure. In a preferred embodiment, the brace structure is fabricated from pairs of nestable forms made from a suitable material such as corrugated cardboard and are located beside the pool walls, reinforcing bars are attached to the pool walls and interconnect the latter with the walls and the forms are filled with concrete and are so structured as to have the concrete engage the flanges of the pool wall panels.

In such a case, flexible, porous expansion material can be placed between the soil and shell to provide room for this movement when the clay soil expands and contracts; due to the variable water percentage present at any given time.
