    摘要: A combination of a disc tumbler cylinder lock and a key. The disc tumbler cylinder lock includes rotation limiting device for the key and a guiding element. The key includes grooves for the guiding element, which has two rails making up some of said rotation limiting device, and both of the rails include at least one limiter protrusion arranged to facing inward in the disc tumbler cylinder lock. The key includes at least one recess for the limiter protrusions. The rotation limiting device further includes a front guide having the rails in association therewith. The front guide and the rails are arranged to allow the key, which is in a basic position in the disc tumbler cylinder lock, to be turned for releasing the locking of the disc tumbler cylinder lock.

    摘要: A gun mounting lock and a method of using the same to secure a gun to a support surface. The gun mounting lock includes first and second arms positioned opposite each other and a ratchet assembly positioned between lower ends of the arms. The ratchet assembly engages gears provided on the lower ends of the arms. When the assembly is pushed downwardly by placing part of a gun thereon, the downward movement of the assembly causes the two arms to pivot towards each other simultaneously, capturing the gun between the arms and the assembly. The assembly is locked against movement in the reverse direction by a pin of a solenoid contacting a toothed flange on one of the arms. The assembly can be unlocked using a key or by providing power to the solenoid. The gun mounting lock housing is adjustably engaged with a track mounted on the support surface.

The codeable lock also includes a codebar positioned within the lock cylinder. The codebar is moveable from an uncoded state to a coded state upon insertion of the authorized key into the lock cylinder and by securing the codebar to the sidebar. The codeable lock further includes a tumbler positioned within the lock cylinder and engaged with the codebar.

    摘要: An adaptable lock 10 assembly and a method of using the lock 10 assembly in order to reprogram a lock 10 to accept a key different from the key which originally operated the lock 10. The lock 10 assembly includes a housing 12 with a bore 14 disposed through the housing 12 and a plug 16 rotatably mounted in the bore 14. The plug 16 includes at least one radial slot 18 which is disposed in the plug 16 along the circumference of the plug 16. The plug 16 further includes a longitudinal slot used as a keyway 22 which is adapted to receive a key. The assembly further includes first and second radial tumblers 30, 32 which are disposed in the radial slot 18 and are capable of being in an engaged or disengaged relationship. The distal ends of the first and second radial tumblers 30, 32 extend into the keyway 22 to provide a pattern of ridges along the longitudinal inner walls of the keyway 22. When the first and second radial tumblers 30, 32 are engaged in a first position, a first key 24 fits the lock 10. The first and second radial tumblers 30, 32 may be disengaged in order to reprogram the lock 10 to a second key 44.
