摘要： A new and improved quiet hinge mechanism assembly comprises first and second hinge plates, and first and second connect plates. A pin shaft passes through the first and second connect plates, and a bushing and gasket are mounted upon the pin shaft such that the first connect plate does not engage the pin shaft, and the first and second connect plates do not engage each other. In addition, the bushing and the gasket are fabricated from a suitable, self-lubricating material, such as, for example, polyoxymethylene (POM), thereby rendering the new and improved hinge mechanism assembly quiet.

摘要： Embodiments generally relate to hinge mechanisms. Many of the hinge mechanism embodiments may be used in foldable furniture. The foldable furniture may be a foldable seat or table. The hinge mechanism may include a central cylinder with a body defining a hinge axis. The central cylinder may have rotate channel(s) transverse to the hinge axis and locking channels extending axially from the rotate channel(s). Collar(s) may couple with the central cylinder and may include pin(s) that protrude inwardly into the rotate channel(s) and locking channel(s) of the central cylinder. In some embodiments, an intermediate cylinder may be disposed between the central cylinder and the collar(s). The intermediate cylinder may have slots corresponding to the rotate channel(s) of the central cylinder. When pin(s) and locking channel(s) are aligned, the central lock cylinder may move axially to lock the collars in a desired angular position (e.g., a deployed or folded configuration).

摘要： A hinge assembly is mounted in an electronic appliance such as a notebook and has a stationary leaf, a pintle and a pivoting leaf. The notebook has a base and a cover. The stationary leaf is mounted securely on the base and has a pivoting sleeve having an outer edge, a limiting tab and at least one braking detent. The limiting tab and braking detent adjacently protrude longitudinally from the outer edge of the pivoting sleeve. The pintle is mounted rotatably in the stationary leaf and has an outer end and a limiting rod. The limiting rod is mounted securely in the pintle and selectively limits rotation of the hinge in both directions to leave a small gap when the cover folds toward the base to facilitate opening. The pivoting leaf is mounted securely on the outer end of the pintle and connects to the cover securely.

摘要： An adjustable quick release door hinge for connecting a door to a door frame comprises a hinge component, a hinge bracket, and a pin for connecting the hinge bracket to the hinge component. The hinge component includes a housing having an interior concave surface, an elongated portion extending from the housing and a rotatable bearing member contained in the housing. The bearing member has an arcuate portion and an aperture. Portions of the bearing member protrude from the interior of the housing. Each of the protruding portions is flat. A fastener device is used for connecting the hinge component to a door frame or door. The hinge bracket is attached to the other of the door or door frame. The pin extends from the hinge bracket and is received by the aperture of the bearing member of the hinge component for connecting the hinge bracket with the hinge component. Also featured is a quick release hinge component and a method of attaching a door to a door frame.

The features of the invention include the following: removable hinge rod for complete cleaning with rod held in place by a removable end mechanical retaining member; full length support for the door; end cap and hinge can be completely welded to pass sanitary construction specifications; enables use of aluminum or stainless steel rods; permits use of stainless steel hinge rod on aluminum containers; hinge rod can turn or rotate in end support areas or caps thereby avoiding binding or bending when installing door; and a hinge assembly area is easily cleaned; invention employs a continuous horizontal hinge rod which opens the hinge area for cleaning and continuous hinge support.
