The system further includes a plurality of hinges secured to the second side; a handle extending through a thickness of the body and configured to manipulate a latch extending through the first side of the body; a latch blocker secured over the latch and rigidly attached to the first side of the body; an animal interface rigidly secured to the first side of the body and configured to protrude relative to the front surface of the body; and an adjustable door return device secured to the back surface of the body of the door, the adjustable door return device is configured to return the door to a closed position.

    Abstract: A multiple direction railroad gate release mechanism which is attached between the mount arms of a railroad gate actuator and a crossing arm to prevent breakage of the crossing arm due to impingement in either a frontal or rearward direction by a vehicle or other outside force. A primary pivot arm assembly allows a released movement of the crossing arm in reaction to frontal impingement and returns the crossing arm to the original and detent position subsequent to an impingement in order to maintain grade crossing protection. Spring assemblies, a shock absorber and a spring centering assembly act to return the primary pivot arm assembly and attached crossing arm to a normal detent position. A secondary pivot arm assembly is secured to the primary pivot arm assembly whereby the secondary pivot arm assembly can act independently of the primary pivot arm assembly to allow released movement and return of the crossing arm in reaction to rear impingement.

    Abstract: A hinge includes a hinge arm (1) and a hinge base (6) fitting with the hinge arm. A support (2) is disposed between the hinge arm (1) and the hinge base. A first end of the support is movably connected to the hinge arm, and a second end is movably disposed with the hinge base (6). A locking position (12) is disposed on the hinge arm. A connecting piece (4) is disposed in fitting with the locking position. A first end of the connecting piece is movably connected to the body of the support, and a second end is movably connected to a first end of a rocking bar (7). The body portion of the rocking bar (7) is movably connected coaxially to a second end of the support (2) and the hinge base (6). A connecting shaft (72) is disposed on a second end of the rocking bar. A first end of a spring (3) is hung to the connecting shaft, and the other end of the spring is hung to a hanging shaft (62) that is disposed fixedly with the hinge base. Because of the connecting spring, the connecting piece and the support on the key component rocking bar, by adjusting a hole position of a connecting rivet and a force of the spring, a balancing force and a buffering force can be provided for gates with different weights in a changing way, and the adaptability is good.

    Abstract: A method of installing a replacement door closer assembly including a closer mechanism includes the steps of: (a) removing a previous door closer assembly from a mounting surface of a door or a door jamb; (b) fixing a first mounting bracket on the mounting surface through a first pre-existing mounting hole; (c) extending the closer mechanism of the replacement door closer assembly through the first mounting bracket while aligning a second mounting bracket with at least a second pre-existing mounting hole in the mounting surface; (d) sliding the closer mechanism back toward the first mounting bracket so that the second mounting bracket can be fixed to the mounting surface through the second pre-existing mounting hole; and (e) positioning and securing the closer mechanism between the first and second mounting brackets.
