    摘要: A system for producing mechanical energy. In some embodiments, the system includes a first source providing a first fluid, a fluid pressurization device, a second source supplying a second fluid, a first motor, and a second motor. The fluid pressurization device draws in the first fluid from the first source and increases the pressure of the first fluid. The first motor is driven by the second fluid, the second fluid decreasing in pressure and the first motor powering the fluid pressurization device as the second fluid passes through the first motor. The second motor receives a mixture of the first fluid from the first motor and the second fluid from the fluid pressurization device, whereby the second motor produces the mechanical energy.

    摘要: An overspeed safety device for a pneumatic rotation motor having a stator (10) with an air inlet passage (16), a rotor (12), and a speed governor for determining a maximum speed level, and comprising a speed responsive actuator (34) connected to the rotor (12) and a valve (33) shiftable by the actuator (34) from a normally open position to a closed position so as to block or substantially restrict the air flow through the inlet passage (16) at the attainment of motor speed levels exceeding a predetermined maximum level should the speed governor malfunction, wherein the actuator (34) comprises a spring biassed contact element (48) connected to the rotor (12) and responsive to centrifugal action, and the valve (33) comprises a disc-shaped valve element (36) pivotally supported in the inlet passage (16) and maintained in its open position by one magnet (42) and in its closed position by another magnet (43).

The governor device is a valve operated by centrifugal force to control a pressurized fluid through the nozzles of a turbine rotor. The valve comprises a rotary chamber having an opening outwardly of a resilient valve member therein, the resilient valve member being movable by centrifugal force to control flow through said annular chamber, said annular chamber being part of the passageway of the pressurized fluid flow through said turbine rotor nozzles.

    摘要: A novel turbine motor spindle assembly for a spindle-mounted pneumatic tool, especially in a live tool environment is described. The novel turbine motor spindle assembly includes a manifold with a front end and a rear end. The manifold includes an air intake passage for receiving pressurized air. The pressurized air is directed axially through a drive shaft rotatably coupled to the front end. The pressurized air drives a turbine motor assembly and a drive shaft. The drive shaft is mounted inside a housing is self-lubricating. The turbine motor assembly includes tangential openings for expelling exhaust air therefrom. The turbine motor housing is mechanically coupled to the front end of the manifold with an exhaust air passage for directing exhaust air from the one or more tangential openings out through the rear end of the manifold.
