摘要： A pump has a main body. An assembling part is formed in the main body and has an assembling chamber. A mounting part is formed in the assembling chamber and has a discharging chamber. An influent hole and an effluent hole are respectively defined through an inner surface of the discharging chamber. A storage hole is defined through the assembling chamber and communicates with the effluent hole. A mounting cover is mounted on the mounting part. A motor is mounted on the main body. An impeller is located in the discharging chamber and connected with the motor. A covering assembly is mounted on the assembling part and has a storage chamber that communicates with the storage hole. When working fluid passes through the effluent hole, some of the working fluid enters the storage chamber via the storage hole, eliminating the need to additionally process the mounting cover.

The proximate section includes: an outer peripheral portion having a tapered shape such that, within a range of a rotational trajectory of each of vanes provided on an impeller, the outer peripheral portion gradually spreads out in a direction axially away from the vane; and an inner peripheral portion having a tapered shape such that, within the range of the rotational trajectory of each of the vanes, the inner peripheral portion tapers in the direction axially away from the vane. The inner and outer peripheral portions are spaced apart from each other with a flat proximal opposed surface portion therebetween. The opposed surface portion is opposed to respective axial end surfaces of vanes of the impeller. The volute also includes a peripheral wall surrounding the peripheral surfaces of the vanes.

摘要： A centrifugal pump includes a housing containing an impeller mounted on a shaft which is journaled for rotation within the housing. An inlet to the housing directs fluid from a supply to one end of the impeller and axially spaced first and second volute diffusers formed around the other end of the impeller receive fluid from the impeller. The volute diffusers are of different predetermined sizes designed to handle different flowrates of fluid while producing about the same pressure head. A sleeve telescoped into the housing and surrounding the impeller may be moved between extended and retracted positions to close off and open the flow of fluid into the larger one of the volute diffusers.

摘要： A pump assembly of the type for insertion into an opening in a fluid reservoir such as the type used for windshield cleaning liquid in an automobile. The pump housing has a shoulder for overlapping the periphery of an opening in a fluid reservoir and defines an impeller chamber rearwardly of the shoulder. An inlet passage extends forwardly from the impeller chamber and is disposed radially inwardly of the shoulder. The inlet passage supports a filter integral therewith. A wall surrounds the inlet passage and is in spaced relationship thereto for disposition in the opening in a reservoir whereby a snap ring or the like may engage the wall for retaining the assembly to the reservoir. A bleed passage extends between the impeller chamber and the space between the inlet passage and the outer peripheral wall to provide a path for air from the impeller chamber into the reservoir to prevent air lock-up. A motor abuts the rearward end of the housing and a shaft extends from the motor to support an impeller in the impeller chamber. A seal is disposed in sealing relationship with the shaft and the housing between the impeller and the motor.
