摘要: A ceramic turbine engine exhaust component, such as a ceramic matrix composite (“CMC”) exhaust center body may be positioned around a metallic attachment ring. The attachment ring may have a greater coefficient of thermal expansion than the CMC center body. A plurality of bolts radially-spaced around the circumference of the attachment ring may be inserted through apertures in the center body with a sliding fit, and may be coupled to the attachment ring. The bolts may slide within the apertures, allowing the attachment ring to thermally expand without applying extra loads on the exhaust center body due to the expansion.

摘要: An Ni base forged alloy is easy to make hot forging and miniaturization of crystal grains while excellent high-temperature strength and segregation property are compatible. The Ni base forged alloy has solid solution temperature of a precipitation strengthening phase lower than or equal to 970° C., difference in the solid solution temperature between a δ-phase and the precipitation strength phase larger than or equal to 50° C., Al of 0.5 to 1.0%, Cr of 17 to 21%, Fe of 17 to 19%, Nb of 4.5 to 5.5%, Ti of 0.8 to 1.3%, W of 3.0 to 6.0%, B of 0.001 to 0.03%, C of 0.001 to 0.1% and Mo of 1.0% or less in mass percentage [%] and remainder made of Ni and inevitable impurities.

摘要: A bimetallic ring for use as a turbine shroud in a gas turbine engine. The bimetallic ring forms a sealing surface as a hot gas flow path boundary in the engine. The ring is comprised of two materials. The first material, a wrought, oxidation resistant metal alloy comprises a first portion, which is the hot gas flow path sealing surface. The second material, a low cost low alloy steel, comprises a second portion that may be at least a pair of supporting side plates. A dissimilar weld joint joins the sealing surface to the second portion, the at least pair of supporting side plates.

摘要: A turbine bucket assembly and turbine system are disclosed. The assembly includes a multi-lobe joint having an integral platform, the joint having a first axial length; a segmented airfoil having a root segment extending radially outward from the platform and a tip segment coupled to the root segment, the tip segment having a second axial length less than the first axial length; and a turbine wheel defining a receptacle with a geometry corresponding to the multi-lobe joint and being coupled to the multi-lobe joint. A tip segment material, a root segment material, and a turbine wheel material are selected, such that the turbine wheel material and the root segment material have a lower heat resistance and a higher thermal expansion than the tip segment material.

A manufacturing method of a turbine rotor blade according to the present invention is, in a manufacturing method of a turbine rotor blade, using an Ni-based forged alloy, characterized by including: a softening process of increasing a γ′ phase incoherent with a γ phase that is a matrix phase in the Ni-based forged alloy; a first working process of forming at least two members constituting a rotor blade by using the Ni-based forged alloy after subjected to the softening process; a second working process of forming cooling structural parts in the respective members; and a third working process of joining the members.

摘要: An aft clamp ring for a gas turbine engine is disclosed. The aft clamp ring includes a body, a forward sealing face, and an aft sealing face. The body includes an annular shape extending between an outer end and an inner end. The forward sealing face faces in a second axial direction. The aft sealing face is adjacent the outer end facing in a first axial direction and is at least partially radially aligned with the forward sealing face. The forward sealing face and the aft sealing face are each an annular surface with a surface area from 105.50 cm2 to 165.19 cm2.

A fill pipe is inserted into the hollow spar and is used to deliver the liquid retainer material to the hard to reach slots formed in which the shear ties solidify.

One or more spring tabs extend from the first seal section and/or the second seal section, are disposed between the first and second seal sections, and bias the first and second seal sections away from one another.
