Abstract:
In a linear motion guide unit, a raceway groove formed in a casing of a slider includes a first raceway surface extending along the length direction of the slider and a second raceway surface facing the first raceway surface and extending along the length direction of the slider. The second raceway surface includes a first portion including a center portion in a length direction of the casing, and a second portion including end portions in the length direction of the casing and having a wall surface shape different from a wall surface shape of the first portion. In the first portion, the first raceway surface and the second raceway surface define a symmetric Gothic arch groove, and in the second portion, the second raceway surface has a surface recessed from a position symmetric to the first raceway surface.
Abstract:
A linear guideway includes a rail, a sliding block with two foot members, a circulating member with two receiving chambers, two sets of balls and two lubricating plates. The receiving chambers of the circulating member receive the foot members of the sliding block respectively, so that the rail, each foot member of the sliding block and the circulating member form a circulation channel for one respective set of balls to run. The two lubricating plates are adjacent to the two circulation channels and contact the two sets of balls to provide lubrication to the balls. In this way, the linear guideway conceals two lubricating plates in the sliding block, which can maintain the length of the sliding block without affecting the stroke, and ensure that the running path does not produce a step difference, so that the smooth running of the ball can be kept consistent.
Abstract:
A threadless linear guide includes a rail, a slide block, a recirculation assembly, and a fixing member. The slide block, the recirculation assembly, and the fixing member are positionable with respect to each other through retention engagements therebetween so that the components can be coupled to each other without screws. A reinforcement plate is provided for reinforcing the strength of the recirculation assembly for the recirculation assembly is generally formed of injecting molding, while the fixing member and the reinforcement plate are made of metal. Thus, with the fixing member and the reinforcement plate enclosing the recirculation assembly, any foreign object jamming in the interior would not cause the rolling bodies to eject out through the recirculation assembly during the operation of rolling bodies.
Abstract:
A circulating module of a linear guideway includes a slider and a circulator. The slider has two carrying surfaces arranged on two opposite outer surface thereof. Each carrying surface includes a first circular-arc segment and two second circular segments respectively arranged at two opposite sides of the first circular-arc segment, and a radius of each first circular-arc segment is smaller than that of each second circular-arc segment. The circulator includes two inner circular-arc surfaces. The slider is inserted into the circulator, the carrying surfaces stretch a distance between the inner circular-arc surfaces, each inner circular-arc surface is abutted against the two second circular-arc segments of the corresponding carrying surface, and a gap is formed between each inner circular-arc surface and the corresponding first circular-arc segments.
Abstract:
An end module of a linear guideway includes an end cap, a cover, and a lubricating sheet. The end cap has an accommodating trough, and the cover is installed on the end cap to cover the accommodating trough, so a surface of the end cap faces a surface of the cover. At least one supporting pillar is formed on one of the two facing surfaces of the end cap and the cover, and the supporting pillar abuts against the other one of the two facing surfaces of the end cap and the cover. The lubricating sheet is received in the accommodating trough. The lubricating sheet has at least one penetrating hole, and the supporting pillar is inserted into the penetrating hole. Thus, the lubricating sheet of the instant disclosure is provided without any deformation, which is caused by the end cap and the cover.
Abstract:
A miniature linear motion guide unit is described in which a tubular member for a return passage is installed in an outward open recess cut in the carriage and a covering to bear the tubular member is integral with an end cap major part. This construction helps make the slider compact with cost saving in production. The slider is composed of a carriage made up of an upper portion and side bulges extending downward and having the outward open recesses, end caps having turnaround passages, the tubular members lying on outsides of the side bulges of the carriage, and coverings connected integrally with the end cap major parts to embrace the tubular members in combination with the outsides of the carriage.
Abstract:
A linear sliding block having a rolling ball retainer includes a base block, two circulation-guiding blocks, a plurality of rolling balls and two retainers. The base block has a sliding groove corresponding to a linear sliding rail and at least a pair of load-bearing tracks at two sides of the sliding groove. The two circulation-guiding blocks are coupled to two ends of the base block. The rolling balls are received in load-bearing tracks and non-load tracks. Each retainer has a strip corresponding in position to the load-bearing tracks to hold the rolling balls. The strip has a pair of fixing pieces at two ends thereof. The fixing pieces at the two ends of the strip are connected to the circulation-guiding blocks at the two ends of the base block with fixing members.
Abstract:
A linear guide device has a guide rail extending in a guiding direction, a guide carriage guided on the guide rail by at least one roll body revolving mechanism in the guiding direction. The at least one roll body revolving mechanism includes a revolving passage and a plurality of roll bodies which revolve in the revolving passage. The revolving passage has a running passage which is limited by a roll body running path formed on the guide rail and by a load-receiving wall portion of the guide car a return passage, and two deviating passages which connect the running passage with the return passage and in which the roll bodies are substantially load free. The guide carriage has a base unit and at least one revolving component group, the revolving component group having at least one lower wall portion of a wall which limits the return passage and at least one lower wall portion of a wall which limits the deviating passages. The revolving component group also has a load-receiving wall portion of the running passage, and holding mechanism which hold roll bodies arranged in a region of the running passage also on the guide carriage.
Abstract:
A slider is formed by a metallic main body, a synthetic resin-made frame, and a pair of end caps. The frame is detachably fitted to outer sides of the main body. Ball rolling grooves are provided in the main body. Return paths and inside grooves of a direction changing path are provided in the frame. An outside groove of the direction changing path are provided in each end cap. A paste-like filler is applied to a boundary portion between the main body and the frame and a boundary portion between the frame and the end cap, and is allowed to cure.
Abstract:
A linear motion guide unit is disclosed, in which components are assembled in a mutually fitting relation with one another into a composite construction. This allows reducing the number of components to cope with a modern tendency of miniaturization of the linear motion guide system. The slider is composed of a carriage, end caps mounted on the fore-and-aft ends of the carriage, and carriage frame. The carriage has on inside surface thereof raceway grooves, while on outside surfaces thereof recesses and return-passage grooves. The end caps have turnarounds therein. The carriage frame includes side panels opposing to the outside surfaces of the carriage and end panels opposing to fore-and-aft end surfaces of the end caps. The side panels are made on the inside surfaces thereof with projections. For assembling the components into an unitary composite construction, the carriage together with the end caps is accommodated and held in the carriage frame by press fit of the projections of the side panels of the carriage frame into the recesses of the carriage.
