    摘要: An image processing apparatus for encoding or decoding an image, wherein, even when it is desired to process a motion picture having, e.g., a high resolution, the capacity of a memory necessary for storing a predictive frame is reduced. In an image processing device such as an image encoding or decoding device for encoding or decoding an image, the processing device encodes or decodes the image in an intra-child-frame correlation system or in an inter-child-frame correlation system. In the system, a frame of the image to be processed is treated as a parent frame, the parent frame is divided into a plurality of child frames, and an intra-child-frame correlation or an inter-child-frame correlation is used for each child frame.

    摘要: In a slider of a linear motion guide unit, a carriage in the slider is cut away at undersides thereof to form concaves in which tubular members defining return passages therein are placed. This is in favor of reduced machining cost. The slider is composed of the carriage having an upper portion and side bulges, end caps secured on ends of the carriage, and tubular members installed closely outside the bulges of the carriage in the sliding direction. Sidewise underparts of the carriage is cut away to provide the concaves into which the tubular members fit with tube ends being kept in spigots which communicate with turnaround passages in the end caps.

    摘要: An inside seal is installed in a recess open downward in the slider to keep load-carrying races kept free of foreign materials that have already crept into the inside of the slider. The inside seal is composed of a metallic core and a sealing member that includes a joint portion secured to the core and a major portion integral with the joint portion. The joint portion has a mating surface to come into engagement with a downward surface deep inside the recess cut in a carriage while the major portion includes a first lip to come into sliding engagement with a guide rail, a second lip come into abutment against an inward sidewall of the recess, and third lip to come into abutment against the downward surface.

    摘要: A video encoder for evaluating a prediction error by using a prediction technique include: an image encoding section which encodes a prediction image; and an encoding control device which selects any one of a plurality of prediction modes in prediction used by the image encoding section. The image encoding section performs clipping of higher-order bits of the prediction error input to the encoding control device and reduction of lower-order bits thereof for each of the prediction modes to control prediction mode selection, thus reducing the prediction error bit width to a predetermined bit width. The encoding control device sets to the image encoding section the number of higher-order bits to be clipped and the number of lower-order bits to be reduced. The predetermined bit width of the prediction error after bit width reduction is matched with the bus width used for prediction error transmission by the encoding control device and the image encoding section.Thus, the prediction error bit width can be reduced without degrading the prediction error accuracy so much.

    摘要: A lubricating member is capable of being used in any type of linear motion rolling guide unit and of appropriately lubricating raceway faces over a long period. The lubricating member used in a linear motion rolling guide unit comprises a body 4 impregnated with a lubricant and being in contact with raceway faces of a rail to supply the lubricant to the raceway faces. The body 4 comprises either a single or a plurality of embedding portions 8 having either a recess or a hole. A saturation holding member 9 is embedded in the embedded portion 8. The saturation holding member 9 holds a larger amount of lubricant per unit volume than the body 4 holds the amount of lubricant, and has a relationship ensuring that it has a force sucking the lubricant equal to or smaller than that the body 4 has.

    摘要: A disclosed method of continuous making flexible printed circuits for use in radio set or the like appliances, includes punching holes in a continuous copper-film clad insulating substrate, forming photopolymer films on the faces of the copper films exposing the photopolymer film to photochemical light of a predetermined pattern, developing the exposed photopolymer film, etching the copper film utilizing remaining parts of the photopolymer film as etching masks, removing the remaining photopolymer films 40 and printing solder-resist films on selected parts. The improvement is to provide and retain selected oblong parts of said conductor metal film disposed on and parallel to longitudinal direction of the continuous substrate by, for example, covering these parts by etching-resist films. The retained oblong parts of the metal film serve to prevent shrinkage of the substrate during the conduct of further manufacturing steps thereby assuring registration of the patterns of the printed circuits and the printed solder-resist films.
