摘要: In a shift lever device, a lever moves an operation member when the lever is rotationally operated in a front-rear direction, and the lever rotates a select link such that the select link moves the operation member when the lever is rotation operated in a left-right direction. The position of the operation member is detected to detect a shift position of the lever. When the lever is rotation operated in the front-rear direction, the lever therefore moves the operation member without being through the select link, thereby enabling the precision with which the shift position of the lever in the front-rear direction is detected to be raised.

摘要: A shifter assembly (20) for a transmission of a vehicle. The shifter assembly includes a shaft (36) defining a longitudinal axis (LA) and having a knob (42) mounted to a first end (38) of the shaft. A selector plate (46) is mounted to a second end (40) of the shaft. The selector plate is movable as a unit with the shaft. The shifter assembly includes a guide plate (54) coupled to the housing (24). The guide plate defines a first path (56) and a second path (58) spaced from the first path. A portion (52) of the selector plate is movable through the first path during an automatic mode for facilitating automatic selection of the gear positions within the transmission. The selector plate is rotatable about the longitudinal axis into a manual mode. In the manual mode, the portion of the selector plate is movable through the second path for permitting manual selection of gear positions within the transmission.

摘要: A guide plate for a shift lever device, which is formed in correspondence with a movement range of a momentary type shift lever that automatically returns to a home position after being operated, is provided with an elastic member that includes an operation hole. The elastic member restricts the movement range of the shift lever and guides movement of the shift lever. An impact absorption mechanism is formed in the elastic member and absorbs impact of the shift lever when the shift lever automatically returns to the home position. The impact absorption mechanism includes a slit arranged proximal to the operation hole. A seat that is capable of absorbing impact of the shift lever is arranged closer to the operation hole than the slit. A stopper arranged at a back side of the seat relative to the slit supports inwardly curved deformation of the seat.

摘要: An electric shifting device for a vehicle includes a shift lever, a gate channel, and a detent device. The detent device has a spring-loaded pin and a detent contour cooperating therewith. The detent contour includes first and second paths and a connection path therebetween. The detent contour is movable relative to the channel between a first position in which the first path is aligned with the channel and a second position in which the second path is aligned with the channel. The lever is connected to the pin such that the lever is movable within the channel along the first path when the detent contour is in the first position and within the channel along the second path when the detent contour is in the second position and such that the lever is movable along the connection path between the paths when the detent contour moves between the positions.

摘要: A haptic control device for use in control-by-wire systems in vehicles. The haptic shift device includes a manipulandum manipulatable by a user. At least one sensor detects a position of the manipulandum. At least one electrically-controlled actuator outputs a force on the shift lever. In some embodiments, the manipulandum is moveable within a pattern and is blocked from areas outside the boundaries of the pattern. The actuator(s) can be active or passive, and/or a variable mechanical gate can be used to implement the pattern. Provided modes can include automatic, manual, and/or sequential modes. Other modes can also be provided.

摘要: A dual positional hall effect sensor 10 having an outer housing 12, an actuator 14, a linear movement sensor 20, and a rotational movement sensor device 22. The housing 12 includes a lower chamber 24 and an upper chamber 26, with a barrier wall 28 separating therebetween. The actuator 14 is made up of a coupling 32 for coupling to a movable device (not shown) that is to have its position sensed, a rod 34 that extends from the lower to the upper chamber, a collar 36 for retaining the actuator 14 within the lower chamber, and a key 38. The linear motion sensor 20 is unattachably positioned to set on collar 36, and includes a magnetically conducting pole piece 42 and a left and right magnets 44. The magnets 44 and pole piece 42 are positioned around the rod 34 in a "U" shaped configuration. The lower chamber 24 also includes a positionally fixed hall effect sensor 46 and a spring 48 positioned between the barrier wall 28 and the collar 36. The rotational movement sensor 22, located in the upper chamber 26, includes a sensor housing structure 52 that has a groove or slide 54 for insertion and sliding of the key 38. The sensor 22 further includes a magnetically conducting pole piece 56 and a top and bottom magnet 58. A hall sensor 60 is positioned between the two parts of the magnet 58 and fixed in position relative to any rotational movement of the rotational sensor 22.
