摘要： A device for prevention of particulate contamination of a valve fitting and for notification of whether actual access or tampering or potential access or tampering of a fluid from a fluid tank connected to the valve and/or the valve has occurred, featuring a fitting block which is insertable within the fitting or capable of receiving the fitting, and first and second straps bendable about the valve and fastenable to each other. One of the straps may include a ring through which a valve burst disk is insertable when the strap is bent about the valve. If the device was compromised and the cylinder was removed for access to the valve fitting, the ring of one of the straps would remain on the burst disk even though the cylinder was removed from the fitting. Thus, the compromised device would remain on the valve indicating that access to the valve or fluid had been attempted or achieved.

摘要： A cable lockout assembly includes a base and a cover. The cover is rotatably fixed relative to the base for rotation about a center axis between a lock position and an unlock position. A cable is wound around the center axis between the base and the cover. The cable has a first end and a second end. The first end is fixed relative to the lockout assembly, and the second end extends from the cable lockout assembly a predetermined length. In the unlock position, the second end is detachably fixable to the cable lockout assembly. In the lock position, when the second end is fixed to the cable lockout assembly, the second end is not detachable from the cable lockout assembly.

摘要： A handle assembly for operating a valve of the type having a valve body and a pivotally mounted actuating spindle extending from the valve body has a mounting means to secure the assembly to the spindle, a handle portion connected to the mounting means and a pivotally mounted locking member. The locking member is pivotable, either by camming surfaces on the handle portion and the locking member or by a key, between a first, locked position in which it engages with a portion of the valve body, and a second, unlocked position in which it is free from the valve body and enables the valve spindle to be rotated by the handle portion.The locking member is provided with a number of apertures which can be aligned with corresponding apertures in the mounting means and the handle portion when the locking member is in its locked position. The apertures are shaped to receive tamper-sensitive tape or wire or the shackle of a padlock, to indicate or prevent unauthorized use of the valve.

摘要： A vacuum relief assembly for a containment vessel. The vacuum relief assembly includes a normally closed pressure activated valve assembly that selectively permits flow into the containment vessel from the atmosphere through an interior passage. The valve body includes inlet opening into the interior passage. It also includes a torque acceptance portion to permit connection of the valve assembly to a vessel. A tamper resistant cap is secured in overlying relation to the inlet opening and the torque acceptance portion. The cap is secured with mechanism that provides indicia of tampering.
