摘要: An in-line shutoff valve includes a valve body with an inlet chamber, an outlet chamber, and a poppet seat disposed between the inlet and outlet chambers. A poppet is movably disposed within the valve body and has an open and closed position. The poppet seats against the poppet seat in the closed position, fluidly separating the inlet chamber from the outlet chamber. The poppet is unseated from the poppet seat in the open position, fluidly coupling the inlet and outlet chambers. A manifold with a servo port and a vent port is disposed within the valve body between the inlet and outlet chambers, the vent port being in fluid communication with the servo port to cool valve internal structures when the poppet is in the closed position.

摘要: To provide a hollow poppet valve having an improved heat reduction effect. In a hollow poppet valve (10) having a valve head (14) and a stem (12) integral with the valve head (14), the hollow poppet valve (10) is formed with an internal cavity S that extends in the valve head (14) and the stem (12). The internal cavity S is charged with a coolant (19) and an inert gas. The internal cavity S has a generally disk-shape internal cavity S1 and an internal stem cavity S2 formed in the stem (12) and connected to the internal valve head cavity S1 at a right angle. During a reciprocal motion of the valve (10), a vertical convective flow of coolant (19) along the axis L of the valve (10) is established at least in the internal valve head cavity S1, thereby enhancing its heat reduction effect.

摘要: A lock valve is adapted for locking a process chamber. The lock valve includes a valve flap adapted for sealing an aperture of the process chamber where a substrate to be processed may be inserted or ejected. A cooling unit is adapted for cooling the valve flap by means of a cooling fluid. At least one valve flap hinge is adapted for connecting the process chamber with the valve flap. The valve flap hinge furthermore includes at least one pipe in fluid communication with the cooling unit of the valve flap.

摘要: A butterfly valve for handling materials where the temperature of the materials flowing through the butterfly valve can exceed the breakdown temperature of the sealing member with the butterfly valve inhibiting contact of hot transportable materials with the sealing member to isolate the hot transportable materials from the sealing member. Cooling conduits maintain at least portions of the valve that contacts the sealing member at a temperature below the breakdown temperature of the sealing member to prevent seal failure.

摘要: A butterfly valve for controlling the flow of high temperature fluids, particularly hot gases, comprises a fluid cooled disc, fluid cooled shafts and a fluid cooled body. The coolant fluid is preferably water. The disc includes a plurality of baffle strips positioned within a hollow interior defining a continuous, serpentine-like coolant flow passageway across the disc for uniform cooling thereof. An outer peripheral edge of the disc carries a resilient high-temperature sealing strip, preferably of a braided Inconel material, for improved gas sealing. The shafts which rotatably mount the disc within the body are hollow and are also cooled by the coolant fluid which is supplied to the disc. The valve body includes a fluid cooling jacket formed adjacent an inner sidewall which forms a seal with the disc along a circumferential surface portion thereof.
