    摘要： A band clamp having an integral buckle includes an elongated band; a buckle member at one end of the band and having a base in the plane of the band, side portions and a top portion connecting the side portions forming a loop for retaining one or more passes of the band; and a tongue member extending in the plane of the base opposite the band, a pair of notches extending into the base at the sides of the tongue. When tension is applied the band with the band extending through the buckle and enclosing the sleeve, the tongue member is deflected toward the sleeve by the band for permanently deforming the base and portions of the sides of the buckle in conformity with the sleeve when the sleeve has an equivalent diameter of less than about 20 times the thickness of the band.

    摘要： A cable tie having a head for receiving a tail for binding various objects is provided wherein a head of an integral buckle is tilted so that the tail portion is more easily received. By employing a tilted head, of preferably 30 degrees, a 15-20% increase in performance over similar cables ties of the prior art has been achieve. In addition, a cable tie is provided that includes a bulged or coined portion. A leading edge of the band that is associated with the buckle also includes a bulged or coined portion. The bulged portions are preferably created by a coining process and facilitate binding mechanically the band to the buckle. In addition, a cable tie is provided wherein a head of the integral buckle is interconnected to the band via angled side walls. The angled side walls increase an opening in the buckle that receives the band such that during tensioning less energy is needed to tension the cable tie around a bundle of cables, for example.

    摘要： A hose fitting wherein the free end of a nipple or pipe is sealingly held in one end portion of a hose by a sleeve having a tubular body with a single axially parallel slot and one or more bridges extending across the slot at the exterior of the tubular body. The latter has depressions which extend toward the nipple or pipe to urge the end portion of the hose into sealing engagement with the nipple or pipe. The sleeve can be detached from the end portion of the hose by partially or fully destroying, by deforming or by removing the bridge or bridges so that the slot can be widened prior to separation of the sleeve from the hose.
