摘要： A buckle achieves improved strap tensile strength by providing a bridge portion, about which a free end of a buckle strap is wrapped in tension, with an inwardly projecting concave surface to create a greater deformation of the strap under tension. The buckle also includes at least one strengthening cross rib on the bridge portion and a strap receiving inset with a concave shaped pocket to improve the strap tensile strength. Furthermore, the buckle includes a bendable retainer element with an inwardly directed clamping tab near its free moving end to retain a portion of the strap within the buckle.

摘要： A band clamp comprising a sleeve and a tightening mechanism that includes at least one fastener, such as a nut and bolt, as well as a reaction member which is constructed of a single piece of sheet metal. The reaction member is disposed between the end flanges of the clamp sleeve and can be shaped such that it is forcibly pressed into engagement with the underlying pipe when the clamp is tightened. The reaction member can be a separate component retained between the flanges by engagement of end portions of the reaction member with retainer ears on the flanges. Alternatively, the end flanges and reaction member can all be unitary portions of the clamp sleeve such that the complete band clamp, except for the bolt and nut, is comprised of a unitary piece of sheet metal.

摘要： A metal cable tie is disclosed. The cable tie includes an elongate metallic strap, a metallic locking head, and metallic roller means. The strap has a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The head is secured to the first end of the strap for receiving the second end of the strap. The head comprises a strap entry face, a strap exit face, and a strap-receiving aperture extending therebetween. The head further comprises a floor and a roof which diverge in the direction of the exit face. The metallic roller means lockingly engages the strap, and the head comprises retention means disposed adjacent the exit face for captively holding the roller means within the head. The roller means is movable between a threading position wherein the roller means is disposed adjacent the exit face and the retention means, and a locking position wherein the roller means is closer the entry face. The ratio of the distance from a point along a ceiling to the center of the roller means in the threading position to the diameter of the roller means is less than 1.7.

摘要： A hose clip of the self-holding type includes a clamping ring made by circularly bending a band-shaped leaf spring. A first knob is formed by cutting off a central portion of the clamping ring at a side of its first end in a predetermined range of its length to obtain a groove-like opening and by raising the end of the clamping ring radially. The first knob includes a generally arch-shaped portion. A second knob includes a narrow portion at a side of the second end of the clamping ring, and os formed by fitting the narrow portion into the opening and passing under the arch-shaped portion of the first knob and by raising the second end of the clamping ring radially with respect to the clamping ring so that the second knob confronts the first knob. An abutment face is formed on a surface of the arch-shaped portion of the first knob opposed to a surface of the arch-shaped portion confronting the second knob. A single locking claw is formed by raising a portion defined between two spaced-apart slits each extending from one side edge of the second knob approximately to a widthwise center of the second knob. The locking claw holds the clamping ring in a spread-diameter state when engaging the abutment face, and permits the clamping ring to turn to a reduced-diameter state when disengaged from the abutment face.
