    摘要: A transparent shield is attached to a template and workpiece and used to move the workpiece against an inverted router blade. The transparent shield prevents inadvertent contact of fingers or hands with the router blade, yet allows visual observation of the workpiece proximate to the router blade. A router table may support the workpiece being cut by the router blade. Handles may be attached to the transparent shield for holding thereof. Sensors in the router table may determine the position of the transparent shield in relation to the router blade and the router blade may be stopped if the transparent shield is not covering the router blade. A video camera may be positioned over the router table. The router table, router blade and transparent shield images may be tracked in relation to one another such that if the transparent shield is not covering the router blade, then the router blade may be stopped. A microprocessor computer system may be used in conjunction with the router table sensors or video camera to control operation of the router blade. A brake may be added to the router blade shaft for quickly stopping the router blade if the transparent shield does not cover the running router blade.

    摘要: Surveillance of signal changes, especially for self-checking control systems. It is essential in self-checking control systems to create equipment to monitor signal changes and allowing to detect all conceivable initial errors or defects and to allow beginning a dangerous state or a dangerous motion of a machine only when the input peripherals evince, not only for instance static signals, but after definitively at least one change of signal has taken place and after this input signal was successfully checked dynamically for its suitability in beginning the dangerous state or the dangerous motion of a machine. For that purpose a special circuitry is proposed in which at least one signal source as well as relays and relay contacts are arrayed in such manner that both self-checking signal detection and voltage-free transfer of at least one checked signal to a higher safety level shall take place.

    摘要: The invention relates to overload cut-out mechanism for mineral mining machine haulage mechanism in which a torque reaction tripout device is associated with an epicyclic gear interposed in the gear train of the haulage mechanism between the output from a forward and reverse gear selector and a constant ratio reduction gear train driving a haulage chain sprocket or the like. The torque reaction trip-out device includes a torque anchor arm connected to the sun wheel of the epicyclic gear and according to the load transmitted the torque arm is deflected and arranged to give unidirectional movement to a second arm to which is attached an adjustable rod which trips a latch member to release a friction type clutch in the gear transmission upstream of the epicyclic gear.

    摘要: An emergency stop device for a band saw includes a brake member moveable between a standby position and an active position where the brake member firmly urges and stops a running wheel of the band saw, around which a band saw blade is looped. The brake member is held by a retainer at the standby position when the emergency stop device is inactive. When the emergency stop device is started, the retainer is separated apart from the brake member for enabling the brake member to move by an actuation of a spring member from the standby position to the active position so as to stop the cutting motion of the band saw blade.
