摘要： A welding ground detection system and method are provided. In one embodiment, a switch actuator is interconnected to a grounding device and operatively associated with a switch. The switch is electrically connected to an electrical circuit that is operatively associated with the welding equipment. The switch is normally in an open state in which the switch opens the electrical circuit, thereby preventing welding. Upon connection of the grounding device to a workpiece, the switch actuator actuates the switch to a closed state, thereby permitting welding. In one embodiment, detection of a voltage, a current, a resistance, or an impedance of a ground connection is not required to actuate the switch.

摘要： An emergency stop device for a band saw includes a brake member moveable between a standby position and an active position where the brake member firmly urges and stops a running wheel of the band saw, around which a band saw blade is looped. The brake member is held by a retainer at the standby position when the emergency stop device is inactive. When the emergency stop device is started, the retainer is separated apart from the brake member for enabling the brake member to move by an actuation of a spring member from the standby position to the active position so as to stop the cutting motion of the band saw blade.

The caution and barrier system includes at least two elongate arms that attach to respective sides of a piece of equipment. The arms carry warning indicia. Some embodiments attach via traditional mounting hardware, while others mount magnetically to the equipment. The arms may also pivot and may comprise separate sections attached together by hinges. Yet other versions of the arms may be mounted on equipment using a multi-position magnetic mount. The caution and barrier system is particularly suitable for use with high voltage apparatus where electrical arcing is likely.

摘要： A protective bumper or guard having a substantial thickness of semi-rigid material formed in a geometric configuration, such as a dome, which will not catch or snag personnel or garments moving about structures such as posts having jagged edges or points. The protective bumper or guard incorporates a downwardly depending shaft having one end exposed in the form of a wedge for insertion between crimped portions of the damaged structure, while the opposite end of the shaft includes a head for retaining the shaft in a secured fitting with the semi-rigid pad or body. Preferably, the semi-rigid pad or body is dome-shaped, having a flat bottom, whereby sharp edges and points of damaged structure can impact or slightly penetrate into the material when the wedge has been inserted into the crimped closing of the post or structure. A sufficient portion of the pad or body exists between the secured portion of the shaft with the body so that a person engaging the pad will not feel or snag on the shaft. Weight is reduced by removing material which defines reinforced ribs while maintaining flexibility.

The powered access window replaces a window pane in a sliding door of an automatic safety door. Each track member extends from an opposing end of the sliding door. 摘要： A pallet rack safety net system comprises two parallel horizontal wire ropes that are stretched along the top and bottom edges of a shelf opening. A pair of hung left and right screens of flexible netting are attached between the top and bottom wire ropes so that they can be horizontally separated at the middle of the shelf opening. The inside vertical edges of each screen are finished with a metal bar and a clasp so the screens can be latched together at the middle. The outside left and right edges of the screens are secured to the outside of the shelf opening. If used on a top shelf that has no supports at each side of the opening, a pair of support posts are included that hold aloft the top horizontal wire rope. A network of stays and guys are used to reinforce each such post.
