    摘要: A safe combustion device includes a housing. A wick is disposed in the housing. The wick has a top end at a first distance from a bottom surface of the housing. A guiding device is connected to the housing and includes at least one shade. The at least one shade has bottom and top sides at second and third distances from the bottom surface of the housing respectively. The second distance is shorter than the first distance. The first distance is shorter than the third distance. The at least one shade has an inner lateral side adjacent to the wick. The at least one shade and the housing include a flow passage formed therebetween.

    摘要: A pilot fuel nozzle for a combustor includes an igniter forming a central body extending along a longitudinal center of the nozzle. A nozzle tip includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced fuel passages and a plurality of circumferentially spaced air passages extending to an outer side of the nozzle tip. The central body extends through a center of the nozzle tip for producing a spark to ignite a fuel/air mixture adjacent to the nozzle tip. A plurality of fuel tubes extend along the central body, each of the fuel tubes having an outlet end engaged on the nozzle tip for delivery of fuel from the nozzle tip into a combustion chamber of the combustor An outer sleeve surrounds the fuel tubes and defines an annular space in fluid communication with the air passages of the nozzle tip between the outer sleeve and the central body.

    摘要: A field-ready oven has reinforced telescoped side walls that extend and hold a base, shelf, tray support and cover spaced apart. A low air intake and a semipermeable membrane deliver air and vapor fuel to catalyst pads on the shelf. Radiant heat from exothermic reaction is diffused over a bottom of a tray. Hot gas circulates around the diffuser and tray with a chimney effect before exhausting. A lid on the cover lifts for access to the tray. A fuel container in the oven forces fuel through a capillary restriction to limit fuel flow. A spring in the container is released to start fuel flow.

    摘要: The present invention relates to vessel design that enhances candle performance by separating the inlet air from the active scent while accelerating the active scent. The chimney-like assembly accelerates active scent flow, thus propelling active scent faster and further from the candle. The separation of inlet air from active scent produces an efficient laminar flame with minimal flame movement and flickering, thus reducing the soot potential.

This heating system with passive auto thermostatic behavior, coupled to thermopiles, heat pipes and fluid heating systems may provide useful heat and electricity to applications of floors, roadways, runways, electronics, refrigerators, machinery, automobiles, structures, and fuel cells.
