Abstract: A combustion device includes a solenoid valve configured to open and close an inflow port and an additional solenoid valve configured to open and close a communication port selectively mountable at an upstream end of a distribution flow passage with a small number of nozzles. When the additional solenoid valve is mounted, a state of supplying a fuel gas to only a distribution flow passage with a large number of the nozzles by opening the solenoid valve and closing the additional solenoid valve and a state of supplying the fuel gas to two distribution flow passages by opening the solenoid valve and opening the additional solenoid valve are mutually switchable. When the additional solenoid valve is not mounted, a state of supplying the fuel gas to the two distribution flow passages by opening the solenoid valve and a state of not supplying the fuel gas are mutually switchable.

Abstract: A burner includes a hot gas zone and an outer zone, a primary air feed line, a secondary air feed line, and a fuel feed line. The secondary air feed line includes three concentric cylindrical tubes. The fuel feed line is arranged concentrically around the secondary air feed line. Abstract: An electromagnetic valve has a magnetic coil and a movable element coupled to a valve element. The magnetic coil, when excited, conveys the movable element in one direction to move the valve element from its initial position into its active position. A control circuit for the electromagnetic valve has a current source for optionally supplying current to the magnetic coil and a measuring device for measuring a voltage level of the magnetic coil and/or a current level through the magnetic coil. A monitoring unit which is connected to the measuring device establishes a switching state of the electromagnetic valve corresponding to the position of its valve element based on the intended current supply state of the current source and the current and/or voltage characteristic measured by the measuring device and, if appropriate, determines a fault state of the current supply and/or the electromagnetic valve.
