Disclosed is a decorative gas stove. The decorative gas stove includes a stove body and a viewing platform. A cavity is defined in the stove body. An energy device is provided inside the cavity for storing gaseous fuel. A supply pipe is provided inside the cavity for transporting the gaseous fuel. A water tank is provided on an upper end of the stove body and a bottom of the water tank is defined with a plurality of air outlet holes communicated with the supply pipe. An ignition portion is provided on a side wall of the water tank for igniting the gaseous fuel flowing to a water surface through the air outlet holes when the water tank is stored with water.

A modular steam production system for a home cooking appliance, and a home cooking appliance having a modular steam production system, are provided. The modular steam production system includes a steam generating unit having a heating element for generating steam from water, a water reservoir for storing a quantity of the water and being fluidly coupled to the steam generating unit, a controlled water release system including a valve movable between a closed position and an open position to control a release of the water from the water reservoir into the steam generating unit and thereby controlling a volume of steam generated by the steam generating unit, and a mechanical connection configured to engage a corresponding mechanical connection on the home cooking appliance to provide motive power to the controlled water release system to actuate an opening and closing of the valve.

A divider for an oven includes a first panel configured to spatially separate the oven cavity into respective upper and lower sub-cavities. The first panel defines a first plurality of apertures therethrough. A second panel is slidably mounted to the first panel and defines a second plurality of apertures that are collectively moveable relative to the first plurality of apertures by sliding of the second panel relative to the first panel between a heat transmission position and a closed position, wherein the ones of the second plurality of apertures are respectively aligned and unaligned with the respective ones of the first apertures. In various aspects, the divider may be configured as an integrated or permanently installed feature of an oven or may be a removable accessory for use with an oven.

A domestic appliance, such as a double oven range, incorporates a door having a bottom end portion which, when shifted between closed and opened positions, both pivots and vertically shifts relative to a frame body of the appliance through at least a connecting rod, push rod and pivot arm of a hinge mechanism. Due to a combined pivoting and lifting action of the door, minimal to no clearance is required between the bottom end portion and adjacent structure.

A gas oven includes an oven cavity, an oven door and a channel. The oven door is configured to provide access to the oven cavity. The channel is located above the oven cavity and includes an inlet in fluid communication with the oven cavity. The channel further includes a first outlet and a second outlet which are in fluid communication with an exterior of the gas oven. The channel is configured to allow gases in the oven cavity to enter the channel through the inlet and exit the channel through any of the first outlet and the second outlet. The first outlet and the second outlet are located higher than the inlet.
