The method continues by positioning an electric heater proximate to the heat exchanger unit, the electric heater operable to further heat the heated air emitted by the heat exchanger unit to a target temperature greater than 120 degrees Fahrenheit, the further heated air being emitted into the affected area.

    摘要: A heat gun adapter is an apparatus that allows the use of a heat gun in order to ignite the fuel pellets within the combustion chamber of a pellet burner, specifically manually-ignited gravity-fed pellet burner. The heat gun adapter features a base plate that is placed over the combustion chamber access port after the combustion chamber end plate is removed. A nozzle port is present in order to allow a heat gun to be inserted through the base plate. The heat gun is guided through an annular guide that is positioned concentrically with the nozzle port. The annular guide additionally serves to hold the heat gun in place without user assistance after the heat gun is inserted. The heat gun adapter is held in place between a first track and a second track on the combustion chamber by a lip.

    摘要: A system and apparatus for precision temperature control of thermal bead baths used in biological laboratories to heat biological samples is disclosed. The system has an insulated outer shell and an inner shell sealed together to form a recirculation pathway. The inner shell has an air extraction port opening into the recirculation pathway and at least one air injection port opening into the recirculation pathway. A fan is in the recirculation pathway and is positioned to draw air through the air extraction port. At least one thermal sensor is connected to a control and is disposed in close proximity to one of the air injection ports. Beads used in thermal bead baths are placed in a mesh basket inside the inner shell. The fan draws air from the inner shell through the beads and into the recirculation pathway, where the air is heated by a thermal element. The air flows past the thermal element and through the air injection ports back into the inner shell.

    摘要: A portable air blowing appliance has a housing retaining a blower adapted when energized to create an airflow through and from the housing, and a heating element adapted when energized to impart heat to the airflow. A movable deflector selectively steers the airflow either though or not through the heating element. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the blower is, in combination, a motor-driven centrifugal blower rotatable about a blower axis to create the airflow, and a scroll surrounding the blower wheel and adapted to direct the airflow from the blower wheel forwardly from the housing. In this exemplary embodiment, the deflector is movable about a pivot axis perpendicular to the blower axis between a heating position wherein the airflow is steered through the heating element and a cooling position where the airflow is steered not through the heating element.
