    摘要: In a particular embodiment, a cooling system contains a compressor configured to compress a refrigerant, a high side heat exchanger configured to remove heat from the refrigerant, and a load configured to cool a space using the refrigerant. The high side heat exchanger has a frame and one or more refrigerant tubes extending through the frame, wherein each refrigerant tube has at least one cavity configured to allow the refrigerant to flow through the refrigerant tube. The high side heat exchanger is configured to remove heat from the refrigerant as the refrigerant flows through the one or more refrigerant tubes. The high side heat exchanger also has one or more heat pipes contacting the frame that, collectively, bear at least 25% of the weight of the one or more refrigerant tubes, are coupled directly to the frame, and are configured to remove heat from the flowing refrigerant.

    摘要: An ice cube-making machine that is characterized by noiseless operation at the location where ice cubes are dispensed and be lightweight packages for ease of installation. The ice cube-making machine has an evaporator package, a separate compressor package and a separate condenser package. Each of these packages has a weight that can generally by handled by one or two installers for ease of installation. The noisy compressor and condenser packages can be located remotely of the evaporator package. The maximum height distance between the evaporator package and the condenser package is greatly enhanced by the three package system. A pressure regulator operates during a harvest cycle to limit flow of refrigerant leaving the evaporator, thereby increasing pressure and temperature of the refrigerant in the evaporator and assisting in defrost thereof.

A working gas is filled inside said pressure working chamber 36b and sealed thereto by a plug body 60k. The diameter size of the diaphragm 60a and the whole size of the plug body 60k are reduced in order to miniaturize and reduce the weight of the thermal expansion valve as a whole.
