    摘要: A radial rotary dryer improves drying efficiency for sludge and other substances, prevents clogging phenomenon, and is realized in a simple structure. The radial rotary dryer includes spaces formed by inner and outer drums and partitioned by a plurality of radial plates . The substances, which have been introduced through a drum inlet together with hot blowing air, sequentially move throughout all spaces and are dried during drum rotation. The substances are discharged through an opposite side of the inner drum. A lift plate is attached at one surface of each radial plate to improve the drying efficiency. Hammers are attached to an opposite surface of the radial plate to free-fall according to the rotation of the drum, thereby crushing the substances. The radial rotary dryer is useful to dry sewage sludge, food waste, or other industrial substances with the best drying efficiency, the minimum installation space, and a crushing function.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for underwater pelletizing and subsequent drying of crystallizing polymers to crystallize the polymer pellets with out subsequent heating is shown in FIG. 5. High velocity air or other inert gas is injected into the water and pellet slurry line (120) toward the dryer near the pelletizer exit (102) at a flow rate from about 100 to about 175 m3/hour, or more. Such high-speed air movement forms a vapor mist with the water and significantly increases th speed of the pellets into and out of the dryer such that the polymer pellets leave the dryer with sufficient latent heat to cause self-crystallization within the pellets. A valve mechanism in the slurry line (150) after the gas injection further regulates the pellet residence time and a vibrating conveyor after the dryer helps the pellets to achieve the desired level of crystallinity and to avoid agglomeration.

    摘要: Provided is an indirectly heating rotary dryer which has achieved enhanced energy-saving performance by reducing heating tubes non-contacting with material to be dried and reducing power required for rotation even when a hold up ratio is increased.Specifically provided is an indirectly heating rotary dryer having four partition walls 16 extended respectively along an shaft center C in an inner space of a rotating shell 10 at angle intervals of 90 degrees in the vertical and horizontal directions. The four partition walls 16 partition the inner space of the rotating shell 10 at a lateral section of the rotating shell 10 into four approximately-sector-shaped small spaces K respectively extended along the shaft center C. Heating tubes 11 are aligned in the rotating shell 10 in three lines extended respectively in parallel to the shaft center C of the rotating shell 10. The heat tubes 11 heat and dry the material H to be dried by supplying heated steam to the heating tubes 11 and performing heat exchange with the material H to be dried in the rotating shell 10.
