摘要: A mount for attaching an optical scope to a weapon includes a base and front and rear lower clamping members extending from the base. The rear lower clamping member is axially spaced apart from the front lower clamping member. A front upper clamping member is attached to the front lower clamping member to define a front scope ring having a front cylindrical bore. A rear upper clamping member is attached to the rear lower clamping member to define a rear scope ring having a rear cylindrical bore, and wherein the front and rear cylindrical bores are co-aligned with a first axis. An accessory mount configured to receive a weapon accessory extends from the front upper clamping member and has an elongate portion extending along a second axis. The first axis and second axis are parallel and the second axis is laterally offset with respect to the first axis.

摘要: Disclosed is an extended range multi-caliber in-bore laser boresight system for sighting in a firearm. The device includes one or more hollow cartridge cases that resemble a standard firearm case lacking a bullet, a laser module, and an external electronic package. The laser module fits within the hollow cartridge case and is positioned within a firearm chamber. The laser exits the hollow cartridge through the firearm barrel to aid with zeroing a firearm sighting system. The laser diode is powerful enough to be visible at extended ranges in bright sunlight. The inventive boresight system can be used for zeroing any desired caliber, such as from 5.56 NATO to .50 BMG at extended range.

In one example, the leveling indicator is an engraved line which extends longitudinally along the length of the scope. 摘要: A device adapted for zeroing of a projectile device having a first scope, the device including a second scope; and an adaptor for securing the second scope to the projectile device. Further disclosed is a method for zeroing a projectile device having a first scope and a second scope, the method including: adjusting the aim of the projectile device by aiming a reticle of the second scope at the center of a bullseye at a target plane disposed at a distance; firing a first shot of the projectile device to create a first point of impact at the target plane; and aiming a reticle of the first scope at the center of the point of impact, wherein a subsequent shot fired from the projectile device is configured to impact a second point of impact aimed at with the reticle of the first scope at the target plane.

摘要: Methods and systems for aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device are disclosed. Using a superposition device coupled to the projectile device, at least one optical reference point is superposed within a first target area. The point of impact is created on a second target area using a projectile expelled from the projectile device towards the second target area. The point of aim for the projectile device is aligned with the point of impact while the position of the at least one optical reference point is maintained. Parallax is eliminated (or minimized) by aligning a primary and a secondary sight alignment indicator with each other and with a common optical axis extending through a scope configured to be coupled with the projectile device.
