摘要: In one aspect, a sight with a momentary switch to control a laser beam on the sight may include a main power switch, a switch with momentary sensor, a plurality of locking screw to lock the sight onto a firearm, an orifice for emitting laser beams, a charging socket, and a laser adjustment screw. When in use, the user can press the main power switch to turn on the sight. In one embodiment, the switch with momentary sensor can emit infrared light and if the infrared light is deflected, the laser beam will be turned off. So, if the user wants to turn off the laser beam, the user can simply move the finger toward the momentary sensor to somewhat covers the momentary sensor to deflect the infrared light emitting therein.

摘要: A turret display device is used for rapidly zeroing a riflescope. The turrets on an improved riflescope provide a turret position signal. A display of the turret display device comprises turret display cross hairs displayed relative to a target icon. When the turret display device receives a turret position signal, turret display cross hairs move to show the relative movement as indicated by the received turret position signal. When a distance is processed by the turret display device, the turret display cross hairs move to show an aiming point relative to a target icon based on the current zero of the riflescope. The user zeroes the riflescope to any distance by turning the turrets until the turret display cross hairs are centered for the desired distance. In some embodiments the turret display device is integrated into a hand held rangefinder, smart phone, or riflescope. A riflescope having turrets which each provide a turret position signal.

摘要: An electronic sighting device and method is described for calibrating a shooting device. The sighting device includes a display screen, mounting clip, optical lens, and an external infra-red torch for light compensation. By one discharge from the shooting device, the adjustable targeting reticule of the electronic sighting device can be set to align with the targeting position. The alignment process does not require adjusting the optical lens position, nor the mounting position of the sighting device.

摘要: A scope may include an adjustment dial, which may be moved among a plurality of positions to configure the scope to compensate for projectile drops. The adjustment dial may be labeled with dial-calibration data, which may include one or more distance indicators and/or one or more windage hold-off indicators. The scope may be attached to a gun, bow or crossbow and the dial-calibration data may be at least partially generated using ballistics performance data based on shots, bullets, arrows or bolts fired by the gun, bow or crossbow. The dial-calibration data may be at least partially generated using shooting conditions. A system and method for generating customized adjustment dials can incorporate ballistics, projectile, and/or shooting conditions into program. The system and method can also include a derived distance calculation module, which may be configured to use a distance to a target and actual shooting conditions to calculate a derived distance.

Such aim points are superimposed on the user's field of view of a conventional scope. A preferred embodiment may be coupled to a conventional scope. Embodiments include an auxiliary light projector that presents at least one aim point disposed in a user's field of view, and the aim point(s) is/are adjustable for elevation and windage. Aim points may also be adjusted in size, color, shape, and intensity.
