Abstract: The present invention generally relates to an eco-friendly wearable article comprising a nutrient complex capable of efficiently able to reduce or eliminate methane gas emission during biodegradation of the article, and a method of making the eco-friendly wearable article containing the nutrient complex. Preferably, the nutrient complex typically comprises anionic sulphate ions and cationic salts of iron(II) and copper(II), thereby facilitating methane oxidation in an anaerobic environment such as a landfill.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention relates to a chloroprene copolymer latex, a method for producing a chloroprene copolymer latex, a chloroprene copolymer latex composition, and a molded article or dipped product of a chloroprene copolymer rubber. The chloroprene copolymer latex is a latex of a chloroprene copolymer including monomer units derived from 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene (chloroprene) and monomer units derived from 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene, wherein the tetrahydrofuran insoluble content in the chloroprene copolymer is 20% by mass or less, and the proportion of the monomer units derived from 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene is 10 to 27 mol % in the chloroprene copolymer.

Abstract: A mold, system, and method of fabricating rubber gloves is disclosed. The mold includes a base, a forearm region, a wrist region, a palm region; and digit regions including a thumb region, an index finger region, a middle finger region, a ring finger region and a little finger region. The thumb, index finger, middle finger, ring finger, and little finger regions are configured in a splayed arrangement such that the mold has an appearance of a human hand with the thumb and fingers thereof flexed apart from one another. A plurality of molds are secured to a chain drive by individual mounting assemblies. During fabrication the chain drive moves the molds through liquid nitrile. Bubbles forming in the nitrile as the molds emerge from the liquid tend to pop close to the palm region of the mold because of the splayed configuration of the digit regions.

Abstract: An assembly for use with a glove manufacturing system is provided. There may be an assembly having first and second holders that engage a glove mold. The first and second holders have respective ledges that each engage respective first and second sides of an edge that defines a slot in the glove mold. With the first and second holders coupled to the glove mold, a connector can connect the first and second holders to a support structure to thereby couple the glove mold the support structure. Then, the gloves may be formed through the use of the glove mold.

Abstract: Devices and methods for providing respiratory therapy are disclosed. One device includes a first lumen, a second lumen, and a bridge with at least one opening. The first lumen has a first inlet end to receive a first flow of breathing gas, a first outlet end to deliver the first flow, and a first bend between the first inlet end and the first outlet end. The second lumen has a second inlet end to receive a second flow of breathing gas, a second outlet end to deliver the second flow, and a second bend between the second inlet end and the second outlet end. The bridge separates the first lumen and the second lumen, attaches to the first lumen at the first bend and the second lumen at the second bend, and is configured to maintain the first flow of breathing gas separate from the second flow of breathing gas.
