    摘要: An electric circuit arrangement for energizing a magnet of a magnetic resonance imaging facility includes a first circuit part, a second circuit part and a control facility. In an embodiment, the first circuit part is designed to generate a direct voltage as an DC link voltage from an alternating voltage and the second circuit part is designed as a current source fed by the DC link voltage. The second circuit part includes a down converter controllable by the control facility, a transformer switchable by the control facility and a rectifier. A primary current is generatable from the DC link voltage via the down converter. The primary current is feedable by a switching facility, switched by the control facility into a primary side of the transformer, and a secondary current for energizing the magnet is generatable via the rectifier connected to a secondary side of the transformer.

    摘要: The invention relates to a prepolarizing magnetic resonance- or relaxation-based measurement system, comprising a prepolarizing coil for producing a prepolarizing field at the target zone, means for pulsing the prepolarizing field according to a first pulsing scheme, and means for measuring magnetization of a target placed in the target zone. According to the invention, the system further comprises a shielding coil for producing a shielding field and means for pulsing the shielding field according to a second pulsing scheme, whereby the shielding coil and the second pulsing scheme are arranged to reduce the formation of unwanted transient fields caused by the coupling of the prepolarizing coil to conducting or magnetic structures in the surroundings of the system. The invention also relates to a corresponding method of measurement and a process of designing the pulsing schemes for the system or process. By means of the invention, the formation of unwanted eddy currents, for example, in the surroundings of the measurement system, can be reduced.

    摘要: A radio-frequency shielded room for a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging system has at least one electrically-conductive shield wall substantially enclosing a predetermined volume adjacent to one end of the bore formed through an imaging magnet within which bore the imaging process is carried out. The at least one wall has an aperture therethrough substantially at and in registration with the one bore end. A hollow shield member, of an electrically-conductive material, extends through the magnet bore and has a first end region periphery aligned with and substantially electrically connected to the entire periphery of the aperture in the at least one wall. A second end of hollow shield member extends at least to the remaining end of the magnet bore, where it is enclosed with an electrically-conductive cap substantially electrically connected about the entire periphery of the hollow shield member second end. The at least one wall, the hollow shield member and the second end cap form a shielded room substantially completely enclosing the volume extending through the magnet bore and adjacent to one end thereof, which volume is effectively shielded from radio frequency signals emanating from outside the enclosed volume.

An eyepiece assembly includes an outer housing. A beam splitter assembly includes a beam splitter block having a receptacle holding a beam splitter, the block formed of an electrically conductive, non-ferrous material. The beam splitter reflects light from the display onto the patient's eye, and allows light reflected from the patient's eye to pass to the camera sensor. In another embodiment as a display system, the eye-tracker camera assembly is omitted.
