摘要： A bicycle helmet adapted to be used with eyewear includes an impact-absorbing body, a resilient wiper, and an alignment feature. The impact-absorbing body has a convex exterior surface and a concave interior surface adapted to be positioned on a user's head. The impact-absorbing body further includes an aperture formed in the exterior surface and dimensioned to permit insertion of a portion of the eyewear into the aperture along an insertion axis. The resilient wiper is positioned at least partially in the aperture and arranged to engage the portion of the eyewear upon insertion into the aperture. The alignment feature defines at least a portion of the aperture and is oriented to guide the portion of the eyewear toward the resilient wiper.

摘要： Goggles are described as including an outrigger, an elastic band, and one or more cages. The elastic band is coupled to the cage, which may then be disposed within an opening of the outrigger. Thus, the elastic band may be coupled to the outrigger and, accordingly, to the goggle frame, through cage. Such a configuration may allow for the elastic band to have a stronger and more compact coupling to the outrigger and/or goggle frame. The cage may comprise metal or another material stronger than the material of the goggle frame and/or the outrigger. Furthermore, the cage may be more compact (e.g., narrower) than a typical connection while maintaining or improving strength.

摘要： A helmet may include an upper-body comprising a first outer shell coupled to a first energy-absorbing shell formed of expanded polypropylene (EPP), expanded polystyrene (EPS), expanded polyurethane (EPU), or expanded polyolefin (EPO). A lower-body may include a second outer shell coupled to a second energy-absorbing shell formed of EPP, EPS, EPU, or EPO, wherein an upper portion of the lower-body is nested within the upper-body and a lower portion of the lower-body extends to an outer surface of a lower portion of the upper-body. A strap anchor may be disposed between the upper-body and the lower-body, and be sandwiched between the upper-body and the lower-body with the strap anchor being adjacent to, and oriented towards, the lower-body. A strap may be coupled to the fastening device and coupled to the strap anchor for coupling the helmet to a head of a user.

摘要： A helmet having a movable and openable jaw shield is disclosed. The movable jaw shield is pivotable about a hinge located on the front of the helmet chin bar. The movable jaw shield in open configuration clears the space in front of the user's mouth to facilitate communications from the user. Preferably, the movable jaw shield may also be detached from the pivot to be removed or interchanged. The movable jaw shield is suited with a breath guard configured to mate with a protrusion on the lower front portion of goggles frames. The mating of the goggles and breath guard preferably substantially prevent environmental foreign materials from entering between the breath guard and goggles.

摘要： A device with a stationary portion and a rotatable portion, wherein the rotatable portion is lifted to form a substantially L-shaped bracket. Device is configured to be disposed on the forehead of the wearer, preferably coupled with protective headgear. When the rotatable portion is lifted, the bracket is configured for receiving an edge of eyewear. When the eyewear is pulled upward and back due to forces exerted by straps disposed around a user's head, the bracket exerts an equal and opposite force on the edge of the eyewear, holding the eyewear in place. Bracket may include grips for easier use in inclement weather or when the user's hands are otherwise encumbered.

摘要： Headwear in which a storage area or pocket is formed in one side of the hat portion where an accessory is stored in the pocket when not in use. The free end of the accessory can be removed from the pocket by the wearer and pulled across the wearer's face after which the free end of the accessory is detachably secured to an opposite side of the hat portion so that the accessory remains positioned over the wearer's face. After use, the free end of the accessory is detached from the hat portion and returned for storage in the pocket. The invention is described in an embodiment for use in a ski hat in which the accessory is a goggle. Also described is the provision of a non-permeable layer in the hat portion that prevents moisture from reaching the goggle to prevent it from fogging up during its use.

摘要： A facial cushion for a goggle may have a plurality of layers which provide cushioning, cooling and ergonomic fit functions. The top layer which contacts the wearer's face may have an embossed pattern which creates an air space between the wearer's face and the top layer for providing a cooling function. The embossed top layer also increases the total surface area of the top layer thereby increasing its wicking ability and reduces the total skin contact surface area of the top layer reducing heat. Additionally, the cushion may be thicker at left and right end portions to maintain contact with the wearer's face despite pulling of the left and right ends of the goggle when the goggle is worn with a helmet.

摘要： An eye shield attachment can be used in combination with a safety helmet. This helmet has a front brim continuous with a rim extending along each opposite side of the safety helmet to a pair of rim slots in the helmet's rim. The attachment has a pair of frames that can removably attach to the pair of rim slots in the helmet. The frames each have a fastening member that is lockable onto a corresponding one of the rim slots and adjustable to accommodate various depths in the rim slots. A support structure attached to the pair of frames extends along the rim toward the front brim. A front lens and corrective glasses may be attached to the support structure. A pliable bead may be attached to the front of the support structure and extend rearwardly to engage a wearer's forehead.
