摘要： A silver halide photographic element comprising at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a dye-forming coupler which reacts with an oxidized color developing agent to form dye, said silver halide element further comprising a polyester support and an amido compound of Formula I wherein INH is a development inhibitor; LINK is a linking or timing group and m is 0, 1 or 2; R1 and R2 independently represent an aliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic group, or R1 and R2 together with the nitrogen to which they are attached represent the atoms necessary to form a 5 or 6 membered ring or multiple ring system, or R1 and R2 are independently a —C(═O)(LINK)m—INH group, or are substituted with an —NR3aC(═O)—(LINK)m—INH group, with R3a being defined the same as R1 or R2, and wherein the compound of Formula I does not substantially react with oxidized developer to release INH.

摘要： The present invention relates to a light-sensitive silver halide color multilayer photographic material which comprises a support base having coated thereon at least three red-sensitive emulsion layers having different sensitivity, at least three green-sensitive emulsion layers having different sensitivity, and at least two yellow-sensitive emulsion layers having different sensitivity, wherein (a) a core-shell silver halide emulsion having an average silver iodide content lower than 10% mol is present in at least one of the lowest sensitive red-, green- and yellow layers, (b) a yellow dye forming malonodiamide DIR coupler having in the coupling position thereof a 4,7-dihalogen-2-benzotriazolyl group is present in both the medium sensitive red- and green-sensitive layers, and (c) a yellow dye forming DIR coupler having a 1,2,4-triazolyl group attached to the coupling position, such 1,2,4-triazolyl group comprising a hydrolizable alkoxy- or aryloxy-carbonyl group attached to a benzytlthio substituent on the 1,2,4-triazolyl group is present in at least one of the highest sensitive red- and green-sensitive layers.

摘要： This invention relates to a photographic element comprising a support having situated thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, the element further containing an image modifying coupler which upon reaction with oxidized color developing agent during processing forms a dye, said image modifying coupler represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein COUP is a photographic coupler moiety;T.sup.1 is a timing or linking group;R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are independently selected from a halide atom, or an aliphatic, carbocyclic, heterocyclic, carbamoyl, sulfamoyl, carbonamido, sulfonamido, acyl, sulfo, nitro, cyano, amino, alkoxy, alkoxyalkyl, aryloxy, aryloxyalkyl, thioalkoxy, thioalkoxyalkyl, thioaryloxy, or thioaryloxyalkyl group; andn is selected from 0, 1 or 2. 摘要： A new method of preparation of a single isomer of a benzotriazole compound comprises the step of reacting a benzotriazole compound containing symmetrical substituents on the benzo ring with phosgene to produce the corresponding carbamyl chloride. The carbamyl chloride can be reacted with a timeing group of a coupling-off group of a photographic coupler to form a photographic development inhibitor releasing coupler. Such compounds are useful in photographic materials and processes.

摘要： A multilayer color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least two silver halide emulsion layer units, each of which is sensitive to radiation of a substantially different wavelength region within the wavelength region of from about 220 nm to about 800 nm and contains a color-forming coupler capable of forming a dye on coupling with an oxidized primary aromatic amine developing agent, with at least one of the emulsion layer units containing an ICC coupler represented by the general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein Cp represents a coupler residue; L and M each represents a nitrogen atom or a methine group, V represents a monocyclic or dicyclic aromatic ring of the benzene series, and at least one of L and M represnts a nitrogen atom; which releases a triazole derivative or a diazole derivative on coupling with an oxidized primary aromatic amine developing agent, and with the emulsion layer unit containing the ICC coupler represented by the general formula (I) or another layer containing a hydroquinone derivative represented by the general formula (II) ##STR2## wherein A and A' each represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being eliminated by an alkali, and A' can combine with R to Q to form a ring; P, Q and R each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, a hydroxy group, a halogen atom, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a heterocyclic ring or an --S--Z group, and P and Q can combine to form a ring; and Z represents a heterocyclic ring residue substantially photographically inert in a bonded state; which releases imagewise depending upon the development a compound having a mercapto group and/or a coupler which releases a compound having a mercapto group on coupling with an oxidized primary aromatic amine developing agent. 摘要： A method of processing an imagewise exposed color photographic film, said film having at least three light-sensitive units which have their individual sensitivities in different wavelength regions, each of the units comprising at least one light sensitive silver halide emulsion and image dye coupler, which method comprises contacting the imagewise exposed color photographic film with an aqueous solution containing a non-blocked developing agent, at a temperature of between 30 to 60° C.; and wherein said film further comprises an incorporated reducing agent, at least one organic silver salt and an amido compound wherein the reducing agent is substantially unreactive in the aqueous color development step described above, but wherein color development of the same imagewise exposed film is capable of being alternatively obtained, without any externally applied developing agent, by heating said film to a temperature above about 80° C. essentially in the absence of aqueous solutions, such that the incorporated reducing agent reacts to form dye by reacting with the image dye couplers; with the proviso that the amido compound effectively reduces contrast when the film is heated above 80° C. but does not substantially reduce contrast when the film is processed by contacting the imagewise exposed color photographic film with a non-blocked developing agent under aqueous conditions, at a temperature of between 30 to 60° C.
