    Abstract: A process cartridge includes a frame having a side surface at a side of the process cartridge. A photosensitive drum is supported by the frame, the photosensitive drum being rotatable about an axis thereof, the photosensitive drum including a first end positioned at the side of the process cartridge and a second end opposite to the first end in a direction of the axis of the photosensitive drum. A projection is positioned coaxial with the photosensitive drum and at the side of the process cartridge, with the projection projecting from the side surface of the frame in the axial direction of the photosensitive drum with at least a tip of the projection being exposed to outside of the process cartridge. A gear is positioned at the side of the process cartridge, with the gear being rotatable about an axis thereof, the gear having a plurality of teeth, with at least some of the teeth being exposed teeth that are uncovered by the frame and exposed to outside of the process cartridge, and with a tip of at least one of the exposed teeth facing the axis of the photosensitive drum.

    Abstract: A first side frame is apart from a second side frame in a first direction. A photosensitive drum is rotatable about a drum axis extending in the first direction. The photosensitive drum is rotatably supported between the first side frame and the second side frame. A grip portion extends in the first direction. A first connector extends in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The first connector connects the first side frame and a first end portion of the grip portion. The second connector extends in the second direction. The second connector connects the second side frame and a second end portion of the grip portion. A scanner unit is configured to expose the photosensitive drum to light. The scanner unit is located between the photosensitive drum and the grip portion as viewed in a third direction which is perpendicular to the first and second directions.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive drum, a developing device, a toner container, a cleaner, a waste toner container, and a waste toner conveying pipe. The cleaner is configured to clean a peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum after a toner image has been transferred to the printing medium. The waste toner container is configured to accommodate therein waste toner removed from the peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum by the cleaner. The waste toner conveying pipe is configured to convey the waste toner from the cleaner to the waste toner container. The cleaner is located between the photosensitive drum and the fixing device in a vertical direction. The developing device is located below the photosensitive drum. The waste toner container is located below the cleaner. The toner container covers at least a part of an upper surface of the waste toner container.

    Abstract: A process cartridge includes a frame, a photosensitive drum supported by the frame, and a developing roller supported by the frame. A coupling is operatively connected to the photosensitive drum, with the coupling being rotatable about an axis thereof, and with the coupling being positioned (i) at a first end of the photosensitive drum, (ii) coaxial with the photosensitive drum, and (iii) at a side of the process cartridge. A helical gear is positioned at the side of the process cartridge, the helical gear being rotatable about an axis thereof, the helical gear having a plurality of teeth, with at least some of the teeth being exposed teeth that are uncovered by the frame and exposed to outside of the process cartridge. As measured in an axial direction of the photosensitive drum, at least a part of the exposed teeth of the helical gear is positioned farther from the second end of the photosensitive drum than a tip of a projection of the coupling is positioned from the second end of the photosensitive drum.

    Abstract: A developing device includes a developer accommodation frame; a feeding screw including a shaft portion and a helical blade to feed the developer in the accommodation frame by rotation thereof; a supporting member provided with a gear engaged with one end portion of the shaft portion to transmit a rotational force to the feeding screw; and a bearing portion for rotatably supporting the supporting member. In a state that supporting member is supported by the bearing portion, the one end portion is inside the accommodation frame, and a distance between an end portion of the bearing portion in a rotational axis direction and an end portion of the helical blade closest to the bearing portion is larger than a distance between the end portion of the bearing portion and an end portion of the shaft portion.
