    摘要: An electro-mechanical actuator for operating a fluid control valve and controlling the operation of one or more field instruments, including other valve actuators. An electro-mechanical actuator has a drive unit and an electric motor driving the drive unit to open and close a fluid control valve to the fully opened and fully closed states under the control of monitoring limit open and limit closed sensors. Auxiliary control output lines connected to other field instruments from the electro-mechanical actuator drive associated fluid control valves to fully open and fully closed states. Limit open sensors and limit closed sensors monitor the valve open and closed state of the other respective field instruments and through a respective pair of auxiliary travel input lines to the electro-mechanical control the field instrument.

    摘要: A motion controller is provided which improves system responsiveness without having to raise the arithmetic capacity of a master controller or to boost the communication speed of a network. The master controller 1 uses a program analysis unit 1g to separate, from a control program designating a tolerable delay time for operating control target apparatuses, a slave use program to be executed by a slave controller in a manner not to exceed the tolerable delay time, and to create slave-to-slave communication setting information needed by the slave controller to execute the slave use program. Through slave-to-slave communication, the slave controller 2 acquires input/output information from another slave controller. The slave controller 2 also uses a slave use program execution unit 2f to execute its own slave use program.

The device includes an input functionality, an output functionality and a processing functionality that can be connected with at least one higher-level unit (5) for transfer of process-influencing and/or process-monitoring signals by way of a bus system (4) to and/or from actuators (3) and/or sensors (2) connected to the device. A guaranteed response time over the bus system (4) is determined on one hand by the cycle time of the higher-level unit (5) and on the other by the signal cycle time over the bus system (4) itself. In order to provide a shorter response time than this in appropriate circumstances, the device (1) uses the processing functionality thereof to execute logical links internally. The results are available for process control and/or process monitoring after a time interval that is shorter than the guaranteed response time of the higher-level unit (5) over bus (4).
