摘要: Methods, systems, and techniques for controlling actuators by using eye gaze technology such as in a wheelchair or bed, are provided. Example embodiments provide an Eye Gaze Actuator Control System (“EGACS”) which enables people with advanced motor neuron diseases or disabilities like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or muscular dystrophy to use eye gaze technologies to control their actuators that control seating, bed positioning, and movement of motor-controlled devices. In one embodiment, the example EGACS comprises a display device, eye gaze sensor, eye gaze control application, and device interface(s) to one or more other devices that control aspects of a powered wheelchair, bed, vehicle, or other device. These components cooperate to control the powered wheelchair, bed, or vehicle using eye gaze technology as opposed to by manual control.

A user interface in the simulated or interactive environment may be used in a real-time or near real-time basis to provide a seamless experience to a user.

摘要: A method for diagnosing a functionality having an input or output signal with discrete values or discrete classes of values which are observable quantities of a diagnosis functionality. The signal to be diagnosed is the input or output signal, where the values or classes of values have a cardinality N, where N error counters are provided. The method includes providing a sum signal from the sum of the signals of the error counters. When a value or a class of values is erroneous, the method includes incrementing the signal of the error counter assigned to the erroneous value or the erroneous class. When the value or the class is correct, the method includes decrementing the signal of the error counter assigned to the value or the class and when the sum signal exceeds a pre-established limit value, the method includes outputting an error message of the functionality.

摘要: One or more systems, devices, apparatus, computer-implemented methods, and/or system-implemented methods are provided that can facilitate artificial weathering of an object. In one example, an artificial weathering system can comprise a radiation generator configured to apply a constant radiation level to one or more surfaces of an object, and a controller configured to individually control a surface temperature at the one or more surfaces during the irradiation. The controller can be configured to maintain an ambient temperature range, that would be observed in a non-artificial environment, of a chamber containing the object during the irradiation. In another example, an artificial weathering system can comprise a controller configured to control an effect of radiation received at one or more surfaces of an object by controlling airflow directed towards the one or more surfaces, where the airflow is controlled based upon a surface temperature at the one or more surfaces.

摘要: Methods and apparatus to monitor work vehicles and to generate worklists to order the repair of such work vehicles should a machine failure be identified are disclosed. An apparatus includes a model generator to generate a model by collating warranty data, parts and associated maintenance data, and reference alert and measurement data for work vehicles, the reference alert and measurement data including a first alert from a first work vehicle and a second alert from a second work vehicle; associate the first and second alerts with at least one of a first classification, a second classification, or a third classification based on work vehicle operating parameters; determine a first weighting factor for the first alert and a second weighting factor for the second alert within the model based on information from at least one of a weighting factor database, owner/operator input, work order data, or worklist data to prioritize the first alert or the second alert within the model; and update the model based on associating the first and second weighting factors with the first and second alerts; and a processor to generate a display including worklist and work order information.

摘要: A method for transmitting control commands in a computer system, which includes components at least in the form of nodes, actuators and communication systems, wherein the control commands are communicated over the communication systems from the nodes to the actuators, and wherein one or more of the components may fail to operate according their specification. For consistently accepting control commands at the actuators, the nodes and their control commands are assigned priorities, wherein a node and its control commands have the same priority, wherein at least two priorities are used, wherein a high priority node produces high priority control commands and a low priority node produces low priority control commands, and wherein a high priority node is configured to communicate its control commands over at least two communication systems to the actuators and a low priority node is configured to communicate its low priority control commands over at least one communication system to the actuators. An actuator accepts the high priority control commands from the high priority node as long as it receives said high priority control commands on any one of the communication systems, and in this first case, it discards the low priority control commands, and stops to accept said high priority control commands in case said actuator does not receive said high priority control commands from any of the communication systems for a configurable duration, and in the second case, the actuator starts to accept low priority control commands.
