Abstract:
The invention relates to an arrangement (1) comprising an electromotive furniture drive (2) with a control device (5), a power supply device (8), and at least one operating device (10); a piece of furniture (3) into which the electromotive furniture drive (2) is installed; and a data device (21), said electromotive furniture drive (2) and the data device (21) being in communicative connection with each other. The communication connection between the electromotive furniture drive (2) and the data device (21) has a first transmission path (24), which is provided for transmitting an identification code of the electromotive furniture drive (2), and a second transmission path (25), which is provided for transmitting control data and/or operating data of the electromotive furniture drive (2). The invention also relates to a method for establishing a communication connection between an electromotive furniture drive (2) and the data device (21).
Abstract:
An arrangement is disclosed having an electromotive furniture drive with a control device, a power supply device, and at least one operating device; a piece of furniture into which the electromotive furniture drive is installed; and a data device, the electromotive furniture drive and the data device are in communicative connection with each other. The communication connection between the electromotive furniture drive and the data device has a first transmission path, which is provided for transmitting an identification code of the electromotive furniture drive, and a second transmission path, which is provided for transmitting control data and/or operating data of the electromotive furniture drive. There is further disclosed a method for establishing a communication connection between an electromotive furniture drive and the data device.
Abstract:
A method for connecting an expansion module to a programmable electric switching device includes initiating a recognition mode within the switching device during which an interrogation is carried out as to whether or not the connected expansion module is initializable. If the expansion module is not initializable, no data is exchanged between the switching device and the expansion module. If the expansion module is initializable, the switching device switches into an expansion communication mode in which data exchange takes place under the control of the operating system of the expansion module.
Abstract:
A method for checking the compatibility of a complex installation which incorporates various electronic, electrical and mechanical units of apparatus including at least one computer when one of the units is substituted by another substantially equivalent unit. The method comprises: (a) recording identification codes for each of the units of apparatus comprising the installation, including the identification code of replacement devices so as to obtain a base of the new configuration of the installation; (b) recording in computer memory a reference base for the identification codes of the devices of the installation corresponding to the former configuration, and (c) comparing the reference base of the identification codes of the former configuration with the base of the identification codes of the new configuration so as to trigger an alarm when this comparison indicates a configuration change.
Abstract:
A management apparatus monitors and/or controls a facility device. The management apparatus includes a setting unit, a storage unit, a determination unit, and an extraction unit. The setting unit sets association information associating identification information in order to specify a register used by the facility device with a data point regarding monitoring and/or control of the facility device. The storage unit stores history information that is association information previously set by the setting unit. The determination unit determines the use state of the register in the facility device. The extraction unit extracts the history information identical or similar to the use state of the register determined by the determination unit from the history information.

Abstract:
A method for configuring a plasma cluster tool is disclosed. The method includes generating a key file from option specifications, the key file encapsulating configuration restrictions specifically imposed on the plasma cluster tool. The method also includes generating at least one system-wide configuration file and at least one component-level configuration file using the key file. The method additionally includes generating run-time executable objects from a database of option definition files, the at least one system-wide configuration file and the at least one component-level configuration file. Furthermore, the method includes employing the run-time executable objects to configure the plasma cluster tool.
Abstract:
The disclosure provides various systems and methods for conveying information between a communicating first device and a second coupled device of a HVAC network. In various embodiments, a checking of a subnet of the HVAC network for both communicating device and a non-communicating device by the communicating first device occurs. It is determined whether the second coupled device in a non-communicating device. An installer is allowed to set parameters of the non-communicating device through employment of a manifest list of features used by the non-communicating device that is accessible by the communicating device.

Abstract:
A method for configuring a specific plasma cluster tool having a plurality of modules. The method includes providing a set of module option definition files, the set of module option definition files containing generic configuration definitions for generic plasma cluster tools. The method further includes providing a set of tool-specific protection information, the set of tool-specific protection information including data that specifically identifies the particular plasma cluster tool for which the configuring is intended. The method further includes providing a set of tool-specific options specifications, the set of tool-specific options specifications specifying options that are specified for the specific plasma cluster tool. The method additionally includes generating a key file, the key file encapsulating configuration restrictions imposed on the specific plasma cluster tool, the key file being configured to be a required file in the configuring the specific plasma tool.
