Abstract: Embodiments of this present disclosure may include systems that perform operations including receiving a first symbol instance from an industrial automation device. The first template object instance may characterize a dataset accessible to the industrial automation device. Symbol object instances may inherit a categorization with respect to categories associated with the industrial automation device including an identity, a state, a runtime status, a maintenance status, sustainability information, or any combination thereof. The operations may include identifying a type of the industrial automation device based on the first symbol instance and generating template data based on the type of the industrial automation device and the first symbol instance. The template data may include values associated with the dataset and the categories associated with the first symbol instance. The operations may also include sending a control signal to the industrial automation device based on the template data.

Abstract: An industrial internet of things system for intelligent production control is provided, comprising: a user platform, a service platform, a management platform, a sensor network platform, and an object platform. The user platform modifies production line parameters based on an instruction of the user, generates a first instruction, and sends it to the management platform through the transformation of the service platform. The object platform collects production link data of each production link of products and transmits it to the management platform. The management platform modifies work order parameters based on a second instruction transformed by the service platform, generates a third instruction, and determines whether devices corresponding to the plurality of production links are abnormal based on the production link data. The management platform sends the third instruction and the judgment result to the object platform through the sensor network platform to control manufacturing and production line data collection.

Abstract: A system, template, and method of managing virtual control units in an industrial automation facility are provided. The industrial automation facility includes machines. The method includes generating templates including deployment criteria for the virtual control units. Each of the virtual control units is capable of controlling at least one of the machines. The virtual control units are mapped to one or more compute nodes based on the deployment criteria. The virtual control units are instantiated on the mapped compute nodes when the controlled machines are in operation. The method includes validating that the instantiation of the virtual control units is in accordance with the templates using an attestation that confirms determined deployment parameters after deployment of the virtual control units. The machines perform the industrial process, according to control commands received from at least one of the virtual control units, when the virtual control units are validly instantiated.

Abstract: A risk relationship data store contains electronic records that represent, for risk relationships with an enterprise: a risk relationship identifier, an autonomous machine identifier, at least one attribute value, and a resource amount. A device located proximate to an autonomous machine includes an interface for an entity associated with the autonomous machine and a transmitter to transmit a request signal generated via the interface. A back-end application computer server associates the request signal with a specific future operation of the autonomous machine and forwards information about the specific future operation to a remote risk relationship platform. The computer server then receives information about a potential risk relationship with another enterprise and transmits a risk relationship offer to the device located proximate to the autonomous machine. Responsive to an agreement signal received from the device located proximate to the autonomous machine, the risk relationship data store is updated.
