摘要: An electronic device detects a contact on a touch-sensitive surface of the electronic device, including a first portion of a gesture made with the contact, a second portion of the gesture that follows the first portion, and lift-off of the contact from the touch-sensitive surface during or after the second portion of the gesture. In response to detecting the second portion of the gesture, if a modifier input was detected while detecting the first portion of the gesture made with the contact, the electronic device performs a first operation and generates a first tactile output on the touch-sensitive surface. If the modifier input was not detected while detecting the first portion of the gesture, the electronic device performs a second operation different from the first operation and generates a second tactile output on the touch-sensitive surface, wherein the second tactile output is different from the first tactile output.

摘要: Techniques for providing feedback to an actuating object are described. In an example, a device may provide a user interface having a virtual menu button that can be actuated based on a position of an object. If the virtual menu button is determined to be actuated, the device provides a haptic feedback to the object.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to user interfaces for viewing, creating, editing, and sharing content on an electronic device. A device detects a plurality of discrete inputs that includes a first input followed by a second input. In response to detecting the plurality of discrete inputs, the device performs a sequence of operations that includes a first operation that corresponds to the first input followed by a second operation that corresponds to the second input. In accordance with a determination that the plurality of discrete inputs meets an output-acceleration criteria, the first operation is performed with a first magnitude and the second operation is performed with a second magnitude that is greater than the first magnitude. In accordance with a determination that the plurality of discrete inputs does not meet the output-acceleration criteria, the first operation and the second operation are performed with the same magnitude.

摘要: The present invention provides a system for simulating a reaction force from a virtual object. The system at least comprises an input force sensor, calculating means connected to the input force sensor, at least a first pair (201a, 201b) of linear resonant actuators (LRAs) and a driver for the LRAs connected to the calculating means. The input force sensor is to sense an input force applied to the virtual object by a user. The calculating means is to receive the input force from the input force sensor and to calculate the reaction force to apply to the user. The pair of LRAs (201a, 201b) are constrained to move along a first axis (Y). The driver is to receive from the calculating means drive signals to alternately drive each one of the pair of LRAs (201a, 201b) in a first direction along the first axis by an amount determined by the reaction force, whilst allowing the other one of the pair of LRAs to recover more gently in a direction opposite to the first direction. The invention also provides a corresponding method of simulating a reaction force from a virtual object and a mobile device (101) at least comprising such a system.

摘要: A computer system associates one or more haptic feedbacks with one or more user activities. The computer system monitors current user activity on a computing device to determine whether the current user activity corresponds to at least one of the one or more user activities. In response to determining that the current user activity corresponds to a first user activity of the one or more user activities, the computer system causes a first haptic feedback of the one or more haptic feedbacks to be provided on the computing device, wherein the first haptic feedback is associated with the first user activity.

摘要: An electronic device for providing tactile feedback is provided. The electronic device may provide tactile feedback using any suitable approach, including for example vibration, heat, electrical, visual, or any other type of feedback. The electronic device may provide tactile feedback in response to detecting any particular status of the electronic device, receiving any particular input, or detecting any suitable communication received by the electronic device. For example, the electronic device may provide tactile feedback in response to identifying the current network of the device, the status of a particular electronic device component, or any other electronic device status. As another example, the electronic device may provide tactile feedback in response to receiving a particular type of communication, or in response to receiving a communication from a particular contact. As still another example, the electronic device may provide tactile feedback in response to receiving a particular user input, or to detecting a user's finger on a particular portion of the electronic device.

摘要: An input device according to a mode of an embodiment includes a detection unit, at least one vibration element, and a vibration control unit. The detection unit detects a contact position of a user on an operation surface. The vibration element vibrates the operation surface. The vibration control unit controls the vibration element in such a manner that a vibration state of the vibration element becomes a first vibration state when the contact position detected by the detection unit is in a predetermined region and that a vibration state of the vibration element becomes a second vibration state different from the first vibration state when the contact position is outside the predetermined region.
