摘要: Systems and methods for implementing a targeted port allowance for unprivileged processes are presented. The systems and methods determine, from a plurality of ports, a first set of ports from which a process is configured to receive information. The systems and methods configure the first set of ports to be unprivileged, and then configure a second set of the plurality of ports to be privileged. The second set of ports includes each one of the plurality of ports that is absent from the first set of ports. In turn, the systems and methods bind the process to the first set of ports.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to utilizing a firmware configuration system to efficiently update a firmware profile configuration of computing devices (e.g., host devices in a datacenter). For example, the firmware configuration system facilitates updating the firmware profile configuration, such as for a Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) profile and/or a Basic Input/Output System (BIOS), without needing to develop, deploy, and install a new BIOS. More specifically, the firmware configuration system updates (e.g., via a baseband management controller) firmware profile configurations by modifying a profile configuration table in flash memory (i.e., on an SPI flash-based chip) of a BIOS with a firmware profile configuration update patch and without affecting other parts of the BIOS.

摘要: The present disclosure generally relates to setting up an account for a service. A request to set up an account for a first service is received. In response to receiving the request to set up the account for the first service, a first login option and a second login option are displayed. If an input selecting the first login option is detected, a request to use first contact information for a user to set up the account for the first service is transmitted. If an input selecting the second login option is detected, a request to use second contact information for the user to set up the account for the first service is transmitted. The second contact information is automatically generated for the service and does not reveal the first contact information for the user.

摘要: The present disclosure describes automated generation of early warning predictive insights derived from contextual analysis of user activity data of a distributed software platform. Predictive insights are automatically generated from analysis of user activity through implementation of trained artificial intelligence (AI) modeling. User activity data is accessed pertaining to user interactions by a plurality of users on a software data platform. The trained AI modeling generates a plurality of mobility determinations that identify changes in patterns of user behavior over a current temporal filter associated with the user activity data. The plurality of mobility determinations is curated using business logic rules that evaluate a relevance of the mobility determinations. One or more predictive insights may be generated and presented via a graphical user interface notification. Exemplary notifications help provides insights into how user behavior has changed and why that is, thereby fostering understanding of predictions that can lead to actionable results.

The memory is configured to store a control application, a preferences file and an operating system image for executing a second operating system. The processor is configured to execute the control application in a first operating system. The processor is configured to determine whether preferences of the operating system image satisfy a defined condition in the control application The processor is also configured to change the preferences of the operating system image by using the preferences file when the preferences of the operating system image do not satisfy the defined condition. The processor is further configured to copy, to the operating system image, a package file for allowing the control application to control an operation of the second operating system.
