摘要: The present disclosure relates to an image restoration system that efficiently and accurately produces high-quality images captured under low-light and/or low-quality environmental conditions. To illustrate, when a user is in a low-lit environment and participating in a video stream, the image restoration system enhances the quality of the image by dynamically re-lighting the user's face. Moreover, it significantly enhances the image quality to the extent that other users viewing the video stream are unaware of the poor environmental conditions of the user. In addition, the image restoration system creates and utilizes an image restoration machine-learning model to improve the quality of low-quality images by re-lighting and restoring them in real time. Various implementations combine an autoencoder model with a distortion classifier model to create the image restoration machine-learning model.

摘要: A generic gesture detecting method executed by a generic gesture detecting device includes steps of: receiving a current sensing signal from a sensing unit; generating a current image according to the current sensing signal; determining whether the current image is similar with a stored image stored in a memory unit; when the current image is similar with the stored image, detecting the current image and the stored image to be a gesture signal; when the current image is different from the stored image, storing the current image into the memory unit, and returning to the step of receiving a current sensing signal. Since the generic gesture detecting device can automatically detect the gesture signal, the user may not need to enable a detecting time period before implementing a command motion. Therefore, the user can make the command motion without enabling the detecting time period, and the convenience can be increased.

摘要: Processing for judging whether a face is included in a frame is performed, in a predetermined interval, on each of frames included in a moving image of a subject, displayed on a monitor, until the judgment becomes positive. If it is judged that a face is included in a frame, the facial position is detected in the frame, and stored. Then, judgment is made as to whether a face is included in the next frame after predetermined time. If the judgment is positive, the facial position is detected. The previously stored facial position is replaced by the newly detected facial position, and the newly detected facial position is stored. These processes are repeated until photographing operation is performed by operating a release unit.

摘要: A merchant and a user register with a payment processing system, which establishes a facial template based on a user image. The user signs into a payment application via a user computing device, which receives an identifier from a merchant beacon device to transmit to the payment processing system. The payment processing system transmits facial templates to the merchant camera device for other users who are also signed in to the payment application in range of the merchant beacon device. The merchant camera device compares a captured facial image against the received facial templates to identify the user. A merchant POS device operator selects an account of the user. The merchant POS device transmits transaction details to the payment processing system, which processes the transaction with an issuer system. The payment processing system receives an approval of the transaction authorization request and transmits a receipt to the merchant POS device.

摘要: Methods and systems for videoconferencing include recognition of emotions related to one videoconference participant such as a customer. This ultimately enables another videoconference participant, such as a service provider or supervisor, to handle angry, annoyed, or distressed customers. One example method includes the steps of receiving a video that includes a sequence of images, detecting at least one object of interest (e.g., a face), locating feature reference points of the at least one object of interest, aligning a virtual face mesh to the at least one object of interest based on the feature reference points, finding over the sequence of images at least one deformation of the virtual face mesh that reflect face mimics, determining that the at least one deformation refers to a facial emotion selected from a plurality of reference facial emotions, and generating a communication bearing data associated with the facial emotion.

Methods and computer program products are also provided.
