摘要： In embodiments of the present invention, methods for reproducing an acoustic environment are described, which may include accessing a computer stored multi-dimensional sound profile of a first space, measuring a multi-dimensional sound profile in a second space, comparing multi-dimensional sound profile of the first space and the multi-dimensional sound profile of the second space, accessing the sound characteristics of an audio output device that will serve as the audio output device in the second space, and modifying the audio output of a media content of the audio output device taking into account the sound characteristics of the audio output device, wherein the modifying reduces the difference as determined in the comparing between the multi-dimensional sound profile of the first space and the multi-dimensional sound profile of the second space as output by the audio output device.

摘要： An audio demonstration kit encourages understanding of audio concepts by enabling children to construct and study speaker performance. In a particular embodiment, the audio demonstration kit includes a paper speaker and instructions. The paper speaker includes a backplate, a suspension, and a diaphragm cut from a single sheet of paper. The demonstration kit may feature an amplifier that is configurable to accommodate various hardware additions as a child is ready for more progressively challenging construction. For example, the amplifier of an embodiment allows single and dual mode operation, as well as drives a rotary motor and is coordinated with a strobe light. The amplifier of an embodiment is synchronized with the strobe light and a moveable platform to create the impression of that jiggling figures attached to the table are dancing. Interfaces with smart phone, recording, and other technologies further enhances and encourages the learning experience.

摘要： The present invention provides an acoustic display device for displaying modal patterns in response to sound from a sound source. The display device (10) has a substantially circular housing (12), which housing (12) includes a continuous curved side wall (13a), a substantially flat base wall (13b), and open end (13c). The open end (13c) is closed by diaphragm (14), thereby forming closed chamber (15). Excitation of the diaphragm can be effected by introducing vocal sounds to the underside of the diaphragm via one of a plurality of sound connecting means (22) that include a flexible tubular section (30), which terminates in a mouthpiece (32). A user can place the mouthpiece over their mouth and nose and make vocal sounds, which are delivered to the interior of the chamber (15). The mouthpiece (32) can be substituted with a sound collector (60) having a “horn” shape and an annular flange for engagement with a loudspeaker. The other ends (24) of the sound connecting means (22), within the closed chamber (15), each contain a non-return valve so that pressure within the chamber is maintained. The device can also include weight locating means (21a, 21b, 21c) or magnetic tensioning means (80, 84) for tuning the diaphragm. Removable covers having different markings can assist in analysing the patterns produced. Two or more integral curved spirit levels (38) in conjunction with adjustable feet (40) enable accurate levelling of the diaphragm.

摘要： An acoustic analysis device using a reduced scale model comprises a model of a reduced scale of 1/n, a loudspeaker and a microphone provided in the model, a sound signal forming circuit for forming a signal to be radiated by AD-converting an analog signal to be measured at a predetermined sampling frequency, storing the converted signal in a first RAM, reading out the stored signal at a first sampling clock and DA-converting the read out signal, a collected sound reproducing circuit for reproducing collected sound by AD-converting an output signal from the sound collecting device at a second sampling clock, storing the converted signal in a second RAM and reading out the stored signal at a third sampling clock, a sampling clock control circuit for setting the first sampling clock frequency at a value which is n times as high as the predetermined sampling frequency and setting the second sampling clock frequency at a value which is n times as high as the third sampling clock frequency, and an acoustic analysis circuit for acoustically analizing the output of the collected sound reproducing circuit. A frequency conversion device used for the acoustic analysis device comprises the above described sound signal forming circuit, collected sound reproducing circuit and sampling clock control circuit.
