摘要: Systems and methods for a tamper-evident cargo container seal bolt lock are disclosed herein. The device can include a receiving member, a conductive bolt member adapted to be snap-locked into the receiving member, and a plastic encapsulant which tethers the bolt member to the receiving member. The encapsulant can contain an electrically conductive medium, such as a wire, which runs from the receiving member to the second end of the bolt. A sensory circuit disposed within the receiving member can be configured to sense whether the circuit has been interrupted (e.g., if the bolt has been cut). In the event of an interruption, the circuit can record the present time and/or date in memory. An RFID transponder disposed within the encapsulant or the receiving member can then transmit the recorded date/time to an RFID interrogator if a dispute subsequently arises as to when the lock had been broken.

摘要: The present invention teaches a tamper-proof electronic bolt seal which contains a bolt assembly and a seal body. The gist of the present invention lies in the bolt assembly which contains a casing, and a circuit board elastically suspended inside the casing. When a burglar grinds a bolt head of the casing, an internal circuit of the electronic bolt seal is automatically disrupted so that the tampering of the electronic bolt seal can be detected.

摘要: An electronic circuit senses and transmits a tamper condition of a bolt seal locked with a locking device external the module on a side of the module opposite the bolt head. The module is reusable intact when the bolt/locking device, which is conventional, is opened. In various embodiments, a tang type metal/plastic or plastic tamper indicative seal may be attached through a hole in the bolt tip region that has a narrowed diameter tip or attached in a one way clutch action on the tip, or which mates in a bolt groove at the bolt tip region and/or a conventional tamper evident seal is attached to the surface of the bolt shank at the bolt tip region in a clutch action. Different bolt embodiments comprise non-electrically conductive or electrically conductive plastic or steel shanks with juxtaposed electrical conductors along the shank connected to external conductors formed by coatings or axially spaced cylindrical sleeves forming contact regions which engage the circuitry contacts inside the module.

摘要: Implementations described and claimed herein provide an RFID locking apparatus including an RFID tag, a locking member, and a disabling member. The RFID tag is disposed inside a housing and has a chip and an antenna that emits a signal. The locking member includes a tube that extends outwardly from within the housing and a cable connected to the disabling member and exiting the housing via the tube. The locking member configured to compress a spring into a loaded state by pulling the cable. The disabling member is disposed near the spring inside the housing and is configured to destroy the antenna and/or the chip, such that the signal cannot be emitted, upon release of the spring from the loaded state. The RFID locking apparatus is configured to release the spring when the locking member is damaged.

摘要: Systems and methods for a tamper-evident cargo container seal bolt lock are disclosed herein. The device can include a bolt member having a conductive medium running the axial length of the bolt, and a receiving member for locking the bolt into place. A battery-driven sensory circuit including a memory means, a processor, and a timing circuit can be disposed within the receiving member such that a continuous circuit is formed from one circuit pin over the conductive medium through the length of the bolt and back to a second pin. The sensory circuit is configured to sense whether the circuit has been interrupted (e.g., if the bolt has been cut). In the event of an interruption, the circuit can record the time and/or date in memory. This information can then be transmitted to an RFID reader/interrogator if a dispute arises as to when the lock had been broken.

摘要: A hasp seal lock assembly includes a base member that is attached via a hinge to a cover member. The cover member, when rotated such that the cover member engages the base member, is functionally adapted to overlay a latch and seal. The base member and the cover member each have a plurality of apertures defined in adjacent side walls that allow the horizontal latch arm to extend through the assembly. The base member and the cover member also include a second plurality of cooperating apertures whereby the base member and the cover member may be locked together by use of a padlock. In a first preferred embodiment, each cover side wall includes a tab and tab-receiving apertures are defined within the base member. The tabs require that the cover be lifted vertically prior to rotation of the cover member about the base member.

摘要: A security lock bolt for sealing objects against unauthorized access includes a lock bolt having two bolt locking features that cooperate with two locking features that cooperate with a locking cylinder and transparent cap member secured to the locking cylinder, respectively. The bolt locking feature cooperating with the locking cylinder secures the bolt from unauthorized separation from the locking cylinder and the locking feature that cooperates with the transparent cap is visible to an observer outside the cylinder and locks the bolt against separation from the transparent cap member. The transparent cap locking arrangement provides an indication of full locking of the lock bolt within the locking cylinder. The bolt locking feature associated with the transparent cap member is integrated with an overmolded bolt body casing.
