Abstract:
An improved method for molding a plastic container within a mold including an RFID tag to generate a container which leaves a mold having an RFID tag bonded between the container and a label. This method provides for an improved integrally, extrusion blow molded container, label and RFID tag combination.
Abstract:
A ribbon comprises a substrate, and a plurality of seals on the substrate. Different seals detune in response to differing tensile loads. At least one of the seals comprises a surface acoustic wave (SAW) radio frequency identification (RFID) seal.
Abstract:
A label including an RFID tag according to one embodiment of the present invention is configured to be selectively attached and detached in such a manner that one region of the label is attached and fastened onto a product box in a strong adhesive manner and a label region including an RFID tag is attached onto the product box in a weak adhesive manner, and thus a user is enabled to check information that is described on one region of the product box and is covered with the RFID tag. In this case, when the amount of information to be described on the product box is excessively large and thus all the information cannot be described, a space for the description of information can be enlarged by describing the remaining information in one region of the first base film of the label.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for marking a commercial article, comprising two separable parts:a first part (12) including an axial spike (14),a second part comprising an orifice for axial insertion of the spike and means for locking the spike inserted in said orifice. One of the parts, referred to as the attachment part, comprises an attachment: member (32) that is able to pivot between a first position in which a free end of the member is far away from the attachment part and a second position in which the free end is disposed in a housing (50) of the attachment part. The attachment part is configured so that the free end (32a) of the attachment member is blocked in the housing (50; 108) by the presence of the other part of the device that is locked to the attachment part by way of the spike (14) and its locking means.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a secure sealing device 101 comprising at least a closure element 102 with an electrically conductive path 120, and a locking body 103 comprising an electric circuit with a data carrier and a radiofrequency transceiver with a predetermined working wavelength. Said locking body 103 is configured be locked to at least one free end 102a of said closure element 102 to attach the locking body 103 to an object to be sealed. The electrically conductive path 120 of the closure element 102 has a length which is substantially equal to X or ½X times half said predetermined working wavelength of the radiofrequency transceiver, thus enhancing the range of the radiofrequency transceiver by inductive coupling.
Abstract:
A container for fluid products, in particular perfumes, deodorants, creams and the like, comprising: a holding body (2) for containing a fluid (6), preferably a perfume, deodorant or the like; a dispensing member (3) associated with said holding body (2) and having a duct (4) for drawing said fluid (6) and a dispensing head (5) to deliver the fluid drawn by said duct (4), said dispensing head (5) being at least partly inserted in said holding body (2). The container (1) further comprises a transponder device (8) mounted on said dispensing head (5) internally of said holding body (2).
Abstract:
An electric seal includes a wireless tracking facility having a wireless telecommunicating device disposed in a container and having two contacts, a housing engaged in the receptacle, and a lock shaft engageable into the receptacle and lockable to the housing for retaining the receptacle and the housing together, and the lock shaft includes a portion electrically connected to one of the contacts of the wireless telecommunicating device and another portion connected to the other contact of the wireless telecommunicating device for electrically coupling to the contacts of the wireless telecommunicating device together, and the wireless telecommunicating device emits a signal out when the lock shaft is cut or damaged.
Abstract:
A zipper member has a receiving portion having an insertion hole formed therein and including a locking portion, and an inserting portion having an engaging portion to be inserted into the insertion hole of the receiving portion and engaging with the locking portion to establish a locking state. A filament portion integrally connects the receiving portion to the inserting portion. An IC chip is mounted in a holding portion of the zipper member, the holding portion being formed of a hard material along a portion of the filament portion. An attachment tool includes a runner member on which an assembly of zipper members are placed in parallel at regular intervals to be cuttable. The attachment tool sequentially attaches the zipper members to a target one by one.
Abstract:
A strip for tamper evidencing has a first layer and one or more reinforcing layers. An adhesive is provided on a first portion of the strip to selectively adhere the first portion of the strip onto the first layer of a second portion of the strip, wherein the first layer is such that removal or attempted removal of the first portion of the strip from the second portion of the strip will be evidenced by the first layer. The reinforcing material may be arranged such that portions of it are bonded to each other at a plurality of locations spaced along the length of the strip. A security system may include a tamper evidencing device and a receipt portion having corresponding unique identifiers, wherein the receipt portion includes a zip tab securing portion for securing zip tabs or luggage locking points and the evidencing device includes a trackable identifier.
Abstract:
An RFID device includes a chip, an antenna operatively coupled to the chip, and a visual indicator operatively coupled to the chip. The visual indicator provides a visual indication of an operative state of the device. The visual indication may be human readable and/or machine readable, and may provide visual indication that is dependent on a change in an operative state of the device. The operative state that triggers the visual indication may include a state in which the chip has temporarily or permanently been rendered inoperative or disabled, that is, in which the chip no longer responds to, or otherwise interacts with, ordinary incoming RF signals such as from a device reader. The visual indicator may be included in a display that functions by any of a variety of suitable mechanisms, such as by use of electrochromic materials, thermochromic materials, liquid crystals, or chemically-reactive materials.
