The seal can be secured against the clip on the pallet banding, completely covering and protecting the clip from tampering. The seal can have specific seal number and marking, color, or other features that makes it almost impossible to duplicate. Further the seal can have the capability to include RFID tags, Bar Code, and or custom marking and can be applied to the banding clips without a use of any tool or secondary seal or number.

摘要： Method and apparatus for securing a pallet, crate, or similar shipping containers against pilferage is disclosed. This seals is from now on referred to as a Pallet Seal. A pallet seals is comprised of one or more parts, having one or more locking devices. The seal can be secured against the clip on the pallet banding, completely covering and protecting the clip from tampering. 摘要： A product packaging comprises a cap on a transparent bottle to seal in a protected product. The cap includes an RFID chip and antenna that can report a serial number and product identification code to a nearby scanner. Reports from several such scanners in the distribution chain from manufacturer to retailers are logged and used to validate legitimate products by their movements. The caps are designed such that when opened the RFID antenna will break away from its associated RFID chip. The cap is molded of cross-linked polymers with a memory that makes it impossible to reseat it properly to the bottle once removed. A hologram target is placed backwards under a label on the side of the bottle so a laser beam can be directed through the backside of the bottle, through the contents, and to the hologram. The reflected laser light will have a signature that is very sensitive to the exact chemistry of the contents. Adulterations and fake products substituted for the genuine articles inside the bottle are detectable using non-invasive hologram reflected laser light and analysis.

摘要： A unitary plastic case includes a base and a cover that are pivotally coupled together by a hinge. In this manner, the plastic case is capable of being pivoted about the hinge between an open position and an enclosed position. With the plastic case disposed in its enclosed position, the base and cover are sized and shaped to substantially encapsulate a conventional EAS tag. In one embodiment, the plastic case additionally includes a pair of integrally formed mounting straps, each strap being shaped to include a plurality of ratchet teeth. Furthermore, the plastic case is shaped to define a pair of slots, each slot being sized and shaped to receive an associated mounting strap, the plastic case being shaped to sequentially engage the plurality of ratchet teeth on each mounting strap as each mounting strap is fed through its associated slot. In another embodiment, the plastic case additionally includes a pair of projections, each projection defining a slot that is sized and shaped to fittingly receive the strap of a conventional cable tie. In another embodiment, the plastic case additionally includes a separable bushing which is sized and shaped to mount within an elongated bore formed in the plastic case. With the bushing mounted within the elongated bore, the bushing is free to rotate independently of the remainder of the plastic case.

摘要： A self locking reusable rod seal includes a case hardened stamped frustro-conical member comprising a C-shaped section from which two like opposing arcuate segments are cantilevered. The member is located and secured for axial displacement in a frustro-conical bore of a case hardened steel housing. The segments have axially spaced ridges, the end most ones of which grip a rod in the bore thereof, the rod axially displacing the member when the rod is displaced in opposite directions relative to the housing. The rod has circumferential axially spaced grooves. The member ridges engage the grooves so as to be pulled by the axial displacement of the rod. The ridges and grooves are resiliently engaged and when the member is displaced toward one end of the housing bore, the ridges disengage and when the member is displaced toward the other end of the bore, the ridges are wedged against the rod grooves. The rod has a head at one end which with the seal lock a hasp therebetween by limiting displacement of the rod toward the one housing bore end.

摘要： A plastic tamper-proof sealing plug assembly for use in securely sealing the vale outlet of a pressurized bottle or any other type of container. The tamper-proof assembly has a tubular gasket provided with a central opening, sized to fit into and seal a valve outlet, and a sealing plug element with a plug projecting from it, which is sized to snugly fit into the tubular gasket in order to close the valve outlet. The tamper-proof assembly also has a security seal in the form of a strap has one end attached to one side of the sealing plug element and also has another free end. The strap projects outwards from the side of the sealing plug element and is long enough to surround the valve. The tamper-proof assembly further has a fastener for irreversibly fastening the free end of the strap to the sealing plug element so that the strap must be broken in order to remove the plug and the gasket if necessary, from the valve outlet. This gives a visible indication to anyone using the bottle that the plug and the gasket have previously been removed or tampered with. This assembly may also consist of a moulded, one-piece tamper-proof assembly where the gasket and the sealing plug element are combined together in a combined gasket and sealing plug element unit. However, when the gasket and the sealing plug element are moulded into a one-piece tamper-proof assembly, they are separated from one another before they are installed on the valve outlet.
