摘要: An apparatus for decoding an encoded audio signal to obtain a reconstructed audio signal is provided. The apparatus includes a receiving interface, a delay buffer and a sample processor for processing the selected audio signal samples to obtain reconstructed audio signal samples of the reconstructed audio signal. The sample selector is configured to select, if a current frame is received by the receiving interface and if the current frame being received by the receiving interface is not corrupted, the plurality of selected audio signal samples from the audio signal samples being stored in the delay buffer depending on a pitch lag information being included by the current frame.

摘要: The invention provides an audio encoder including a combination of a linear predictive coding filter having a plurality of linear predictive coding coefficients and a time-frequency converter, wherein the combination is configured to filter and to convert a frame of the audio signal into a frequency domain in order to output a spectrum based on the frame and on the linear predictive coding coefficients; a low frequency emphasizer configured to calculate a processed spectrum based on the spectrum, wherein spectral lines of the processed spectrum representing a lower frequency than a reference spectral line are emphasized; and a control device configured to control the calculation of the processed spectrum by the low frequency emphasizer depending on the linear predictive coding coefficients of the linear predictive coding filter.

摘要: An audio encoder for encoding an audio signal has: a first encoding processor for encoding a first audio signal portion in a frequency domain, having: a time frequency converter for converting the first audio signal portion into a frequency domain representation; an analyzer for analyzing the frequency domain representation to determine first spectral portions to be encoded with a first spectral resolution and second regions to be encoded with a second resolution; and a spectral encoder for encoding the first spectral portions with the first spectral resolution and encoding the second portions with the second resolution; a second encoding processor for encoding a second different audio signal portion in the time domain; a controller for analyzing and determining, which portion of the audio signal is the first audio signal portion encoded in the frequency domain and which portion is the second audio signal portion encoded in the time domain; and an encoded signal former for forming an encoded audio signal having a first encoded signal portion for the first audio signal portion and a second encoded signal portion for the second portion.

摘要: An improved concept for coding sample values of a spectral envelope is obtained by combining spectrotemporal prediction on the one hand and context-based entropy coding the residuals, on the other hand, while particularly determining the context for a current sample value dependent on a measure of a deviation between a pair of already coded/decoded sample values of the spectral envelope in a spectrotemporal neighborhood of the current sample value. The combination of the spectrotemporal prediction on the one hand and the context-based entropy coding of the prediction residuals with selecting the context depending on the deviation measure on the other hand harmonizes with the nature of spectral envelopes.

摘要: The present document relates to audio source coding systems. In particular, the present document relates to audio source coding systems which make use of linear prediction in combination with a filterbank. A method for estimating a first sample (615) of a first subband signal in a first subband of an audio signal is described. The first subband signal of the audio signal is determined using an analysis filterbank (612) comprising a plurality of analysis filters which provide a plurality of subband signals in a plurality of subbands from the audio signal, respectively. The method comprises determining a model parameter (613) of a signal model; determining a prediction coefficient to be applied to a previous sample (614) of a first decoded subband signals derived from the first subband signal, based on the signal model, based on the model parameter (613) and based on the analysis filterbank (612); wherein a time slot of the previous sample (614) is prior to a time slot of the first sample (615); and determining an estimate of the first sample (615) by applying the prediction coefficient to the previous sample (614).

摘要: A method and a transmitting node for supporting generation of comfort noise for at least two audio channels at a receiving node. The method is performed by a transmitting node. The method comprises determining spectral characteristics of audio signals on at least two input audio channels and determining a spatial coherence between the audio signals. The spatial coherence is associated with perceptual importance measures. A compressed representation of the spatial coherence is determined per frequency band by weighting the spatial coherence within each frequency band according to the perceptual importance measures. Information about the spectral characteristics and the compressed representation of the spatial coherence per frequency band is signaled to the receiving node for enabling the generation of the comfort noise at the receiving node.
