    摘要： A cueing mechanism for raising and lowering a record player tone arm relative to a rotatable turntable independent of manual or automatic record changer means. The cueing mechanism includes a tone arm lift pin and a pair of actuating plates movable through a cue lever to raise and lower the lift plate. Dampening means provide smooth controlled movement of the lift pin, and override means interconnect the actuating plates in a manner to allow movement therebetween to avoid injury to the mechanism if the lift pin is prevented from upward movement or is forced downwardly by the tone arm.

    摘要： A lifting device, for moving a pick-up arm upwards and downwards, has a lift rod guided by a guide element formed integrally with the deck plate. The lift rod has a pair of adjoining planar walls intersecting each other at an angle, and engaging a corresponding pair of guide walls of the guide element. A highly viscous damping material is arranged between these engaging walls. An oblique compression spring presses the lift rod downward and sideways into engagement with the guide walls, the spring force being directed in a plane which bisects the angle formed by the lift rod walls.

    摘要： A casing of a sound record playing apparatus includes of an upper body (1B) and a lower body (1A), and a vibration plate (16) is formed by reducing a thickness of a part of the upper body. An inner surface of the vibration plate is in abutment with a pickup (13) to amplify the vibrations of the pickup. Thus, a conical speaker which has been used conventionary can be eliminated, and the thickness of the recording disk reproducing apparatus is reduced. Expansion member (6) includes cam surfaces (71b, 72b) which force the grooved recording disk (2) away from the pickup (13) when the expansion member (6) is rotated conversely.

    摘要： The invention provides a method and apparatus for rapid and accurate stylus overhang positioning and tangential alignment with respect to a turntable. Accordingly a stylus locater plate having an aperture and a stylus positioning mark spaced therefrom is mounted on the spindle of a turntable. A pivot arm is connected to the locater plate on the other side of said spindle from the stylus positioning mark. The pivot arm and thus the locater plate, are then rotated around the spindle until such arm crosses over the pivot axis of the stylus arm of the turntable, to locate the mark in the turntable. The stylus arm is then pivoted toward the mark and the stylus cartridge is adjusted in the stylus arm to position the stylus in registration with such mark.The locater plate is further provided with lines near such mark to guide the angular positioning of the stylus cartridge into a tangential alignment with the record grooves at such mark.
