    摘要: A transformer comprising a core and winding wound around a winding axis extending along a limb of the core, said winding terminating in an axial end surface extending in a direction perpendicular to said winding axis, said transformer comprising a ring comprising magnetic material, said ring being located outside said winding and adjacent to said axial end surface. The ring comprises a set of magnetic metal components, such as magnetic metal sheets, said magnetic metal components being distributed about the winding axis and electrically insulated from each other. The core comprises a yoke, said yoke extending radially across the ring, at one or more crossing locations, from a radial inside of the ring to a radial outside of the ring. The cross-sectional height of the ring varies about the winding axis such that magnetic metal components at the crossing locations have lower height along the winding axis than magnetic metal components further away from the crossing locations.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a shielding film is provided. The method includes providing a band of an amorphous soft magnetic alloy; thermally treating the band at a temperature of 500° C. to 600° C. for 1 minute to 1 hour under an N2- or H2-containing atmosphere and under the Earth's magnetic field, thereby creating a nanocrystalline soft magnetic band with a round hysteresis loop; applying an adhesive layer to at least one side of the band; and wherein the band is first applied to a substrate, then thermally treated, after which an adhesive film is applied to the band and, finally, the band is structured by breaking.

    摘要: An annular block of polymer comprising an inductive coupler assembly configured to fit within a groove in the shoulder of a drill pipe joint. The assembly comprises a ferrite channel arranged around the interior of the block. At least one turn of a conductive wire is deposed within the channel. The block comprises a bumper comprising jutting from the block. The block comprises internal void openings adjacent its vertical side surfaces. A void opening is disposed proximate the bumper. The block further comprises an internal gasket partially extending from the bottom surface of the block. The external portion of the gasket being formed to fit within a gasket seat in the bottom of the groove. The wire passes through the gasket as it exits the block. When the block is installed into the groove, the gasket seals the wire and the block's components from the downhole environment.
