    摘要: The transducer has a primary winding wound around a first cylindrical support which delimits a passage where a core is axially movable, a first secondary winding wound around the primary winding and a second secondary winding wound on a second cylindrical support which surrounds completely the first secondary winding. The first secondary winding is formed in two portions: a regularly wound portion and a stepped portion which are phase connected, and the second secondary winding is formed in two similar portions which are antiphase connected. The output signals of the secondary windings are combined to obtain a differential signal representative of the ratio between the sum and the difference of said signals. The secondary windings are designated so that the ratio cannot reach the value +1 or -1 unless one secondary winding is cut-off, thus conferring to the transducer the capacity of being self-monitored. The separation between the secondary windings avoids any substantial capacitive coupling therebetween, and their mounting on separate supports makes it possible to vary their mutual axial position to adjust the response characteristics of the transducer.

    摘要: End caps for the primary winding of an instrument transformer have a radius to relieve the electrical stress at the sharp edges of the primary. The end caps are provided with recesses to receive the primary leads and also have other recesses for locating the primary in a mold for encapsulating the instrument transformer. Lugs or tongues are provided at the inner edge of the end caps to support the winding during molding. Prior to molding, a conducting tape is attached to one primary lead and wound around the end caps.

    摘要: A sum current transformer that acts on a protective switch via an amplifier has a core of a solid metallic material composed of an alloy having more than 40% nickel, so that it can be implemented mechanically solid even given small dimensions. The temperature dependency of the arrangement caused by the ohmic resistance of the winding is compensated by the diminishing eddy currents in the core given increasing temperature, so that the smallest dimensions can be realized for the aggregate current transformer.
