    摘要: An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element. The capacitor element includes an electrode group including an anode body, a cathode body, a separator, and an electrolyte layer. The anode body and the cathode body each has a foil shape. The anode body has a dielectric layer on a surface of the anode body. The electrolyte layer is in contact with the anode body, the cathode body, and the separator. The electrolyte layer contains a conductive polymer and a hydroxyl group-containing compound having a melting point of 50° C. or higher. The hydroxyl group-containing compound is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a sugar and a polyhydric alcohol. The hydroxyl group-containing compound is unevenly distributed more in a peripheral portion of the capacitor element than in a central portion of the capacitor element.

    摘要: A solid electrolytic capacitor includes both a solid electrolyte and an electrolyte solution between electrode foils, wherein a rise in ESR can be sufficiently suppressed for a long time and for which a long life can be realized, and a method for manufacturing the capacitor is provided. To achieve the foregoing, this solid electrolytic capacitor includes an amine represented by general formula (1) as the basic component of an electrolytic solution. In the formula, R1 represents hydrogen, an alkyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, or an alkoxyalkyl group. R2, R3, R4, and R5 each independently represent hydrogen, an alkyl group, a hydroxy group, a hydroxyalkyl group, an alkoxy group, or an alkoxyalkyl group. The ends of R2 and R3 may be bonded to each other to form a ring. The ends of R4 and R5 may be bonded to each other to form a ring.

    摘要: A capacitor manufacturing method described herein includes a process for the isolation of edges of electrode foils in an electrolytic capacitor after slitting the electrode foils from a mother foil. For example, a coating process may be incorporated into the capacitor manufacturing so that the edges of the electrode foils may undergo isolation with a deposition of a layer of epoxy or resin. A manufacturing machine that incorporates a resin coating process may be positioned in the manufacturing line, such that the edges of the slit electrode foils undergo a deposition of a coating of an electrical isolator, such as a polymer, an epoxy, a resin, a ceramic, and/or an oxide layer. As another example, a combined foil with interleaving conducting bands and isolating strips may also be used to form the electrode foils with isolated edges.
