    摘要: A safety circuit assembly for switching on or switching off a hazardous system in a failsafe manner has an evaluating device which is designed to produce a redundant switching signal. The evaluating device is connected to a signaling device via a first and a second line forming a pair of lines. The signaling device has an actuator which can be switched between a defined first state and at least one further state. The evaluating device produces a first defined pulse signal and transmits the first defined pulse signal to the signaling device using the pair of lines in a first direction. The signaling device produces a second defined pulse signal, which is a predefined replica of the first pulse signal, and transmits the second defined pulse signal to the evaluating device using the same pair of lines when the actuator is in the defined first state.

    摘要: A safety circuit assembly for switching on or switching off a hazardous system in a failsafe manner has an evaluating device which is designed to produce a redundant switching signal.     摘要: A safety switching apparatus for the failsafe disconnection of an electrical load has a first and a second terminal for supplying a first and a second signal from a signaling device, such as an emergency-off button. The safety switching apparatus also has a first and a second switching element which together produce a redundant output switching signal for disconnecting the load. The first switching element has a first control circuit to which the first signal is supplied. The second switching element has a second control circuit to which the second signal is supplied. The safety switching apparatus further has circuitry providing a first current path, an alternative second current path and at least one further switching element. The at least one further switching element is designed to select either the first or the second current path, depending on a polarity of the second signal, in order to route the second signal to the second control circuit.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus are disclosed for disconnection of a fault current which has occurred in an AC power supply system. A disconnection command which is produced in a protective device is supplied to a synchronization controller in order to open a circuit breaker, in which synchronization controller a command is delayed until the circuit breaker can be opened in synchronism with the power supply system. The method includes monitoring of the disconnection command emitted from the protective device and monitoring a fault-current signal, or a status signal emitted from the circuit breaker, and formation of an emergency disconnection command if the fault-current signal or the status signal is still present following a delay time after emission of the disconnection command, which delay time is greater than a sum of a natural response time of the circuit breaker and a time for quenching of a switching arc produced on opening of the circuit breaker.

The methods comprise: determining whether a human is located within a defined distance range of the HSD device; preventing first operations from being performed by the HSD device which cause a magnetic field to be generated, if it is determined that said human is located within the defined distance range of said HSD device; and initiating the first operations if it is determined that the human is not located within the defined distance range of the HSD device. The first operations comprise (1) interrogation operations for detecting a presence of an electronic article surveillance security tag and/or (2) deactivation operations for deactivating an electronic article surveillance security tag.
