    摘要: An interference-cancelling circuit includes a main delay line, a first power divider, a first power combiner, and first circuits. The main delay line delays a number of transmitting signals. The first power divider is coupled to the main delay line. Each of the first circuits including n branch circuits is configured to generate cancellation signals for canceling leakage signals (where “n” is an integer of 2 or more). A first branch circuit of the n branch circuits is coupled between the first power divider and the first power combiner. A (k−1)-th branch circuit of the n branch circuits is coupled to a k-th branch circuit of the n branch circuits (where “k” is an integer from 2 to n). The first power combiner outputs cancellation signals generated by the first circuit. A transceiver circuit is also provided.

    摘要: A transmission line is provided with a fixed physical length and a programmable electrical length for achieving a programmable time delay. The transmission line can include a dielectric and a biasing device disposed across the dielectric, and the biasing device can dynamically and continuously vary an absolute level of a bias voltage across the dielectric to vary a dielectric constant of the dielectric, which can vary a time delay of the transmission line. In some embodiments, the biasing device can modulate the bias voltage from a positive voltage to a negative voltage at a frequency and with waveform characteristics that prevent such modulation from interfering with a signal propagating through the dielectric, that prevent the bias voltage from unintentionally varying the time delay of the transmission line when the absolute level of the bias voltage is constant, and that prevents ion impurities within the dielectric from accumulating on bias electrodes.

    摘要: A microwave group delay equalizer in microstrip form comprises a dielectric substrate having a ground plane on one surface and on the other surface two conductive strips oriented end to end and spaced apart by a narrow gap and connected together by a relatively narrow inductive conductive strip of substantially greater length than the gap between the first two strips. A dielectric layer overlies the adjacent ends of the first two conductor strips. A fourth conductor strip is disposed over the dielectric layer to provide capacitive coupling between the first and second conductors. The fourth conductor is connected to a grounded capacitor by a fifth relatively narrow inductive conductive strip.

    摘要: A method and system are disclosed for selectively varying the phase dispersion characteristic of a dispersive meander line as well as a method and system for employing the variable dispersion characteristics for second harmonic signal suppression in amplifier chains. The dispersive characteristics of the disclosed variable dispersion meander line are varied by selectively changing the ratio between the gap spacing of interacting line segments and the pitch of the interacting line segments. The gap spacing to pitch ratio may be continuously varied within a desired range while maintaining an acceptable characteristic impedance.
