    摘要: A multiple channel rotary electrical connector can include multiple first contacts which are radially spaced apart from each other, and multiple second contacts which electrically contact respective ones of the first contacts while there is relative rotation between the first and second contacts. The second contacts may be radially spaced apart from each other. A well tool can include one section which rotates relative to another section of the well tool, and a multiple channel rotary electrical connector which includes multiple annular-shaped contacts that rotate relative to each other. A method of operating a well tool in a subterranean well can include producing relative rotation between sections of the well tool, and communicating multiple channels of electrical signals between the sections while there is relative rotation between the sections. The communicating can include electrically contacting multiple annular-shaped contacts with each other.

The connector includes a power source socket, and a power source plug mating with the power source socket, wherein annular or circular electrode sheets are arranged on the power source socket, and one or more pairs of positive and negative terminals are positioned correspondingly on the power source plug, so that when the power source plug is inserted into the power source socket in any direction or at any angle, the positive and negative terminals can come into contact with the annular or circular electrode sheets to thereby electrically connect the power source plug with the power source socket; and in a preferred embodiment, an earphone jack is positioned at the center of the power source socket so that the connector can operate as both the earphone jack and the power source socket to thereby make use of the space effectively so as to lower the number of interfaces via which a device is connected externally, thus making the device simpler in appearance.

    摘要: The present invention advantageously provides a cost effective flat rotor for a pancake type slip ring. A flat copper coil sheet is stamped into a corrugated shape having concentric V-ring grooves. The corrugated stamped copper foil sheet is bonded using a bonding agent to a dielectric layer. Multiple concentric V-grooves are formed by separating the grooves, for example, by machining the grooves at an apex thereof in order to form separate electrical circuits. A corresponding plurality of holes extend through each concentric ring and through the dielectric layer from the first side through the second side. A conductive material is placed in each of the plurality of holes to electrically connect each concentric ring to the second side.

In particular, excessively great asymmetries are to be avoided. The invention is distinguished by the aspect that the roll bodies cannot come into contact with both parts at the same time and that a bearing cage is not used so that the roll bodies are statistically distributed. Another inventive solution resides in a purposeful combination of several roll bodies which are purposefully so dimensioned that they cannot come into contact with both parts at the same time, with further roll bodies which are purposefully so dimensioned that they can come into contact with both parts at the same time, with the application of bearing cages being possible as well for a reduction of asymmetries. This provision permits a transmission of energy and information between both parts, a mechanical stabilisation of the inventive device, with the advantageous application also of parts having resilience properties.

    摘要: Spring loaded rotary connectors that comprise a first wiring board having one or more sets of electrically conductive concentric circuits or rings formed thereon, that has one or more raised contacts, or looped-shaped dimples, for every ring. In a first embodiment, the first wiring board faces a second wiring board having electrically conductive concentric rings or circuits that form contacts. The first wiring board is coupled to a moving (rotating) component while the second wiring board is coupled to a stationary component, or vice-versa. The sliding rings and dimples (contacts) on the adjacent wiring boards permit signals and power to be transferred from the moving part of the connector to the stationary part thereof. In a second embodiment of the connector, a second side of the first wiring board is configured to have the conductive rings and dimples, and a third wiring board that is substantially identical to the second wiring board is disposed adjacent to the first wiring board on the opposite side thereof from the second wiring board. Appropriate electrical conductors are connected to each active concentric ring of the wiring boards to provide electrical connection thereto.
